Decent menu. Liz, our waitress was fabulous. However it us very overpriced for what you get. Restaurant prices for a cafe setting. Might go back for a coffee, but no food.

My hubby and I LOVE this place, after being married here last year, 6th October 2017,it now holds a very special place in our hearts. On Saturday night, we went back for our first Anniversary, and they sorted us out with our own little private booth. I had taken a couple of decorations over and requested a bottle of prosecco for the table and they placed little candles to make it romantic and even printed us a little anniversary menu personalised with our names and Happy 1st anniversary on it which I thought was a lovely little touch, and we were treated like absolute royalty it was amazing. We never once felt like we were rushed, they never once pestered us or anything it was a totally relaxing meal and evening. Staff were exceptional and very chatty, couple of supervisors even remembered our wedding and couldn't believe it had been a year already. So we'll done Gailes, from my hen day at the spa & resteraunt, to our special wedding day, right through to our anniversary meal... You pulled out all the stops. If recommend this place to anybody.

My recent visit to Gailes left me thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with my day on the greens. This place is a golfer's paradise, offering a blend of recreation and relaxation that is hard to match. The first thing that caught my eye was the meticulously maintained golf course. The lush fairways and well manicured greens were a sight to behold, and the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape added to the overall experience. The layout of the course provided a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf for players of all skill levels. The facility's staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They made sure that every aspect of my visit, from check-in to equipment rental, was seamless and hassle-free. Their professionalism and knowledge of the game enhanced my experience. One of the standout features of this facility was the driving range and practice areas. The state-of-the-art technology and practice bays allowed me to fine-tune my skills, making it an ideal place for both beginners and experienced golfers to work on their game. After a satisfying round of golf, I relaxed at the clubhouse, which offered a delectable menu of food and beverages. The restaurant's ambiance was welcoming, and the food was a delicious treat after a day on the course. Overall, Gailles offers a first-class golfing experience. It's a place where you can enjoy the sport, soak in the beautiful surroundings, and receive exceptional service. I can't wait to return for another round, and I highly recommend it to any golf enthusiast.

Really good fun and I understand that social distancing is in place but the lack of any1 to ask for advice and guidance was shocking, every issue ment u would need to walk all the way to the bar where staff really hadn't got a clue on how the machines worked so in the end, me and the wife just hit the golf balls best we could.

A truly outstanding experience all round - what a lovely course. And terrific hospitality from Nick. We'll be back

I enjoyed the Gailes. However, they did not have enough bar staff to cope with the event. A young man coped as best he could, but some assistance was required .

The gold course will do. As an amateur looking experience it's not bad for general practice but the winter greens are abysmal. I've nearly lost balls in rabbit holes, the green isn't even worth considering for putting practice. If you're happy with a game of closest to the pin then it's fine. The driving range is good quality. Top tracer works fine after dark as long as the lights are on When they're busy, service isn't great.

Was at a funeral tea and one staff member was wearing reindeer antlers! Not appropriate. The soup was lovely but the rolls were like bricks. The buffet was underwhelming. Very disappointed for our family that booked it.

If bedrooms were better then a higher rating would be given as excellent friendly service provided and a very good meal in the restaurant, average breakfast.

Prices have went up 3 times this year and every time I go the computers don't work, once left some clubs there by mistake, asked them to check cameras and see if they had been handed in as they were very sentimental. Said they didn't have them and couldn't check cameras, I found them 6 months later in a pile of clubs they rent out, ruined. Not the greatest of experiences this place. More and more I'm getting to the point where the computers just can't justify the extra money as they never pick up your shots

Took the kids to the driving range and they had a great time. Very good set up and it killed an hour. Eldest child took it very seriously but the other 2 just had a mess about. They all loved it though.

Really tasty afternoon tea and rasul treatment. Highly recommended, even if there isn't a full pool! The afternoon tea was pretty amazing!

The golf driving range was great. The Pro shop was very well stocked, the restaurant with very friendly staff was on par to finish off a good time spent at the driving range. Thank you

I went for the range and then for lunch, we both got the buffalo chicken salad which was really tasty, it was nice to have something really refreshing, crunchy and tasty. I recommend the mint slice if you're looking for something sweet as well.

First time visiting the newly refurbished restaurant. Similar beach theme as another of their venues in Ardrossan. Ordered 2 large breakfasts. Service was quick, pleasant. Food was fresh, nicely cooked, not over cooked like a place I visited recently, and was certainly good value for money. Lovely pot of tea and a large black coffee finished with a pint of fresh orange and lemonade and came to £30. No complaints. Would recommend.

I visited Gailes on Tuesday evening with family and friends where we had a fabulous evening of fine wine and food. From the beautiful starters, the excellent main course and not forgetting the amazing sweet to finish off a completely successful evening. Oh and before I forget, the wine how could I forget the wine . The evening was complimented by the very professional staff who were attentive without being intrusive and applied a personal touch to make our evening as good as it was. It goes without saying, I highly recommend Gailes, you won't be disappointed.

Just had a lovely overnight stay here. Its the first time we've been back since it was refurbished and it looks amazing. Can't fault the staff particularly the lady on reception when we checked in. My husband has mobility issues and she asked if we would like a room on the ground floor not far from reception which was ideal for us. All our meals were lovely. Only thing I would say is I think you could do with a better quality duvet on the bed. Everything else was lovely. We will definitely go back.
