For years, I had never shown my head in public. For years, I had no hairline. For years, I was embarrassed about an uncontrollable condition that affects up to 50% of men. But now, I have the confidence to whip out my head whenever I feel like it, showing off my new hairline, to which nobody has ever noticed that it's SMP, and furthermore, my friend in the gym, who is 19, had stated that, I "have a better hairline" than him! (He still doesn't know it's SMP - why tell, if they don't ask, huh?!). I cannot thank you enough, Lynsey. I discovered Scalp MicroPigmentation by accident, as I had originally been thinking of a transplant. However, after getting in touch Courteney explained what they do at Skulltec and I was interested enough to come for a consultation with Barry. Barry is so approachable and his passion for what he does is clear to see. I personally feel that their guaranteed results were a safer bet than a transplant, and opted to go ahead with treatment. I am so glad I decided to, the results speak for themselves. So natural, and I look years younger, and no scarring either as you would with a transplant. Their clinic is immaculate, so clean and professional. Customer service is second to none, Courteney answered all of my questions so quickly, nothing was too much trouble for her. Barry himself is all about getting the  right results for his clients, and his eye for detail is almost obsessive.

I recently underwent a treatment with Barry and the level of service was far beyond the level I would ever have expected from day 1. As with many men and women who lose their hair, it can affect confidence and cause anxiety. At Skulltec, the staff always have the client’s feelings at the forefront of their minds, showing empathy and understanding of what they are going through. Each time I walked into the building I was always made to feel very welcome by Courteney and Barry whom I dealt with each time. They made me feel relaxed and we’re always quick to respond to texts or social media if I had any questions about aftercare. After speaking with Barry several times, it was clear how much satisfaction he took from seeing how happy client’s are with the final result. I have just went through the treatment and to say I am over the moon is an understatement. The quality and level or service Barry and his team supply is second to none. Everything from the initial consultation to arranging sessions and payments was incredibly easy and hassle free. No hard sell just honest information from a genuine guy who loves his job. My husband has been in for 4 treatments in total 3 original work and 1 top up and all I can say is its the best decision he has ever made. The fresh confidence he has due to having his hairline restored is wonderful to see. The Natural look of the finished work is unbelievable. Great service👌 Hardest thing you will do is decide to have the treatment done, everything after that is very easy. This is down to Barry himself. Skilled at his craft and a nice guy to go along with it so the sessions go by in a flash listening to some tunes along with some decent chat. I came from Romania to Barry's class. After several searches on Google, Skulltec was the academy that convinced me. I came full of fears that I would not understand the course because of the Scottish accent, that I would not be able to handle it, and so on. I just finished my training in SMP today with Barry at Skulltec. The training was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. He tailored the training to suit our needs when we booked and was more than accommodating during the training itself. Barry was really welcoming towards myself and my boss when we arrived. He was also professional but able to make us laugh and made us feel relaxed. The clinic itself was a nice, clean environment to learn and work in. I liked that he only trained us and did not have other people in as groups because it allowed me to focus and feel comfortable enough to ask lots of questions without feeling pressure from other people being there. Barry was focused while teaching us and I was confident to complete the live model at the end of the training because of this. I would definitely recommend anyone to train with Skulltec if you’re wanting to learn scalp micropigmentation.

Barry at Skulltec is a gifted trainer and mentor. He shares his wealth of knowledge and vast experience in a collaborative way which I’m sure will help me avoid many pitfalls. He is very honest and direct and tries to instil healthy habits and practises while encouraging you to be an individual. Very in depth course which covers every aspect of SMP in a systematic way. Clear communication and instruction. Professional yet fun manner. I feel more confident and prepared than I could have anticipated (although I have a lot of practise and hard work ahead). So where to start: First of all, Barry is a cracking guy, down to earth and will do anything for his clients, he isn’t just about taking your money like some business owners, he clearly cares about his clients and wants them to get the best results. Barry explained the full process from start to finish, and gave a fair price for the work. After the first session I was a bit worried as I couldn’t really see much difference however you must trust in the process and stages, which Barry explained.
