Took our boy for an introduction to wall climbing and he loved it, staff were really friendly and helpful and kept him safe while he was learning. Soft mats for when they fall and plenty of different difficulty walls to try.

Very welcoming atmosphere for all levels. Friendly staff. The coffee always tastes amazing with loads of yummy homemade cakes!!

Just had a great time here. Took my 14yr and 8yr old today and they really enjoyed themselves, as did I. The day pass is good value, as are the hot drinks and (sizeable!) Flap Jack's, for when the hands and arms need a bit of a rest. The ambience is perfect... Upbeat edgy tunes (a couple of Jimmy Hendrix's offerings), friendly happy staff and a fine array of indoor plants to boot. The walls have all sorts of different holds to match anyone's level, and the customers were a mixture of abilities from newbies (us) to human-spider-hybrid-subspecies types. Thank you for the care and hard work that has gone into providing this great facility for Ipswich.

I’ve been going to Avid for quite a while now and thought it’s about time I said how good they are! Everything about Avid is 5*. The guys and girls working there are all super friendly and helpful. It’s kept really clean which has got to be a hard task with all the chalk flying about! I had a 121 session with Jack today and have to say that he was incredibly helpful. He definitely knows his stuff and made the lesson super enjoyable. More lessons will be booked with him. Get yourself down there and have a great time!!

Absolutely awesome place. Staff are lovely and you will never have so much fun keeping in shape. Climbing & bouldering is for everyone !

Awesome gym. Super nice staff, a great variety of climbs and really good route setting. I love the open plan layout and the huge cafe. We ended up staying way longer than we usually would at our gym at home.

Good routes for beginners, intermediate and expert climbers. They play good music and have an excellent cafe. Superb espresso strangely....

What a fantastic place with great staff… good variety of routes, very good value and great guys to chat with - we visited on a whim whilst in the area and were welcomed as if a regular… definitely recommend if your anywhere near and fancy a bouldering session!

Visited AVID last night with my Scout Group, George, Dave & Rory could not have looked after us any better, 28 young people & 3 adults and we all had fun, were challenged at a level appropriate to age & ability plus Floor Is Lava was a great fun way to end the evening. Excellent value, will definitely be back!

Great wall, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Good range of routes from beginner to "I really can't". Routes change often so you won't get bored.

What an amazing place. The atmosphere was friendly, the place has an awesome peaceful vibe about it The staff are so friendly and there were no arrogant patrons. I will be going back
