We were most surprised to find a Lake & woods to walk around. Peaceful & pretty. We only had a short walk as we didnt know earlier in the day it was there. Where we walked, just around the lake, would have been suitable for a pushchair or wheelchair. Unsure about any deeper into the walk.

A great place to take your dog for a walk

I have been visiting these woods since they were planted at the beginning of the new millennium. I have had many exhilarating walks from Debenham around the woods, and have come to love the area dearly. All the trees, bushes and shrubs are fruit-bearing, and there are fish in the lake, all available for the use of the community.

A lovely place to wander around.... With beautiful footpaths leading in all directions to add to the walk.

This is one of our favourite dog walks in Debenham. Several places to park in the town, and a variety of refreshment stops before heading back home again.

Great for a peaceful walk with benches around the lake to enjoy the views. Have seen a kingfisher.

The best place to walk, sit & relax or fish Debenham has to.offer, the lakes & pathways are pretty well maintained and there are plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by, wonderful views over the allotments to the Church on the hill, makes for fantastic photo's. Its looks stunning during the spring when all the daffodils are up, definitely worth a visit.

Nice small wood, we took the dog in the morning and it was fairly quiet, all well behaved and friendly dogs, dogs must be on a lead around the lake but can run off lead in the woods, a few muddy areas but quite an easy walk. Parking is limited but most locals seem to walk there. Benches sited around the lake so perfect views for siting and watching the world go by.

For a quiet wall in calm surroundings this is a hidden gem.

Pretty walk, dogs in the lake today, really nice in spring and summer, leads to couple of nice coffee shops in Debenham itself
