Great night out, atmosphere was electric Axe throwing, Darts, Pool, Crazy Golf... brilliant and staff excellent . Was busy but to be expected with being a new venue for Ipswich. Great cocktail menu and was great to catch up on the football on the big screen.

Over priced sums it up. 40 quid for darts. Even if you play in a group its way too much. Mini golf is a quid a hole. Arcades are cheaper bigger and more fun when it comes to mini golf. Stupid money for drinks. Music was so loud its like being in a night club. Our activity started 20 mins late as there was not enough staff to help or sort things out. No sorry or compensation. That being said yes it's fun and the staff were friendly when you could find someone. Not sure it's something i will be doing regularly.

Love boom! Great atmosphere- good value drinks and wicked cocktails. With the range of games offered, there was something for everyone. We played all the games but Axe throwing and shuffleboard were among my faves. Lovely and helpful bar staff! The boom team were friendly and made us feel super comfortable! Would recommend to all!!

My colleagues and I booked Axe Throwing for a team social event after work and thoroughly enjoyed lobbing sharp objects at the wall (they even kept score for us which got dangerously competitive) We were very well looked after by the charismatic Ethan - and he helped us along the way with form and best techniques as we tried desperately to beat each other’s scores. 10/10 can’t wait to go again and have another go

I had the pleasure of dealing with Andy the manager of Boom Battle Bar Ipswich, we arrived for Axe throwing and mini golf and he made sure we had the proper instruction and explained how to best play each game. The venue has taken measures to improve and compared to many other places in ipswich they actually seem to take pride in what they do and care about peoples enjoyment. Would recommend for team and group events the axe throwing can get rather competitive.

The battle boom bar is a refreshingly different evening and the axe throwing in particular was brilliant! Ethan ( our host) was great at showing us the ropes and giving us some tips and hints and even played photographer at the end! It was great value and we all felt we got a decent amount of time trying it out. Plus two for £12 cocktails and plenty more activities on offer it's well worth a night out!!

Best day ever! Boom Battle Bar was amazing fun. Karl, who showed us how to use the axes, was super helpful, and the woman who's name I've forgotten (she had crazy eyeliner) was fantastic at getting us started with the darts. The food was great, the drinks were awesome. I'd totally come back again.

Booked Boom Battle Bar for a Staff Gathering - Jess was super helpful over email prior to the day. She talked me through all the options and helping pick the right choice for the day. When we arrived the staff were warm and friendly and helped us get all set up on every activity we wanted to play. We all had a lot of fun, just the day we wanted.

Highly highly recommend! They hosted our staff night out and everyone had a superb time! Hayden looked after our group, he was brilliant, made it fun and is the best axe throwing instructor (so he says!) Plenty of games to chose from and lovely atmosphere. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, can’t fault them! Will definitely be back

It was fun don't get me wrong. I do think it's very over priced for certain things there. Interactive darts was way over the top in price. Axe Throwing was fun but very pricey. Special events not a weekly thing

Generally I don't usually leave reviews, but had to after trying Boom Battle Bar for the first time last week. Andy looked after us for the axe throwing and was brilliant, really engaging and made the competition between my partner and I that much more intense! Which was great. Crazier golf was pretty damn good too! Would have been 5 stars but I'd need coke on tap for that not bloody pepsi! Who even likes pepsi?! :D Great place with a great team.

WOW. I'm so pleased Boom Battle Bar came to Ipswich. I love this place. I had an amazing time axe throwing with my friends. the staff are always on hand to give tips on the best way to do all the activities and always so friendly. They always have the main sporting events on the big screen so always in a winner in my eyes. Thanks to all the guys.

Ipswich Trade Frames decided to visit Boom Battle Bar for a work event and didn't regret it. From the friendly staff to the great selection of beers, our overall experience was class. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Shout out to Andy the General Manager for making our visit a memorable one, we will be back.

My colleagues and I visited Boom Battle Bar last night for the first time, we had so much fun and we are all really impressed by the service. Andy looked after us so well, from the first time meeting me a few weeks ago, he showed us around and booked us in for the evening and on the night he really took care of us when we required a few changes here and there. We got to experience axe throwing, shuffleboard, crazy golf, pool, beer bong, the batting cage and karaoke. It would recommend this place for any groups wanting to try something new and I'm sure we will be coming back in the future. Thanks Andy!

Went 4 a student night with my friends. Its our final year and we wanted to have a good time after two years of covid restrictions xxx The staff were incredibly rude and made a few snide remarks about us as we were being served. The drinks were so full of ice, our four cups combined would probably only fill up a glass. We wanted 2 play beer pong, and we could not even use the cups for their assumed purpose. We walked out without touching anything and they refused to give us a refund. They charged us £24 for.. ..not alot.

Terrible. Rude staff at the first instance. Me and my friends for freshers week wanted to go to boom battle bar as it seemed fun, however to our dismay we were extremely disappointed. The drinks were under filled. As a former bartender I know that there shouldn't be an overflowing glass of ice in which if you take out the ice, there was a quarter of a glass there. I asked for a refund and they refused even though me and my friends gave a valid argument for a refund. The beer pong they wouldn't let you use the cups, or any pitchers and they filled the mugs with water. It's so bad. They were rude and refused to give me a refund. Ridiculous and disappointing.

Awesome multi-game session today, great food and plenty of it, surprisingly good range of drinks, beers especially, and we were well looked after by manager Karl. A really différent afternoon, and am getting ready to book again
