Dr Iqbal was recommended to me by a family member and I am so grateful for such a good recommendation! My ADHD assessment was brilliant and although getting a private diagnosis is expensive (and it’s a huge privilege to be able to afford it) I would do it again in a heartbeat. It’s an amazing thing to understand myself better. Dr Iqbal is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone.

I am so glad I found Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin! I have been seeing psychiatrists for over 16 years now and he is by far the best from my experience. I instantly felt comfortable with him when I tend to have difficulty trusting doctors in that field (for good reason). Dr Iqbal works so hard to make his patients feel like they matter and are being listened to, taking your opinion into consideration when it comes to treatment while explaining everything to you. He is very friendly and easy to talk to while being professional and great at his job. I really wish I had came accross him sooner. I had been turned down for adult adhd assessment by other private providers due to other existing mental problems making my case "difficult", luckily this brilliant psychiatrist has helped quite a few people in this position. I am now being treated after going through most of my life undiagnosed and I feel that I am in extremely good hands. His follow up appointments are very helpful, he genuinely cares that you are doing as well as possible. I have always felt better after speaking to him. Even his receptionist Pam is very kind, helpful and patient. I can not recommend Dr Iqbal enough!

Having spend nearly 3 years on the NHS waiting list for an Adult ADHD appointment I decided that it was time for me to seek private consultation. I can't recommend the services of IamPsychiatry and Doctor Iqbal enough. I felt supported through the entire process from start to finish. Dr Iqbal was exceptional at helping me. Receiving my diagnosis for ADHD was a hard process as the Doctors saw me as “Functioning” because I was at University. I got diagnosed with a private company and went to Dr Iqbal for medication. He made me feel heard and validated my experiences. The tritiation period started straight away and I was able to email outside of our phone calls if I had any questions whilst on the medication. He listened to all my concerns and he knew that I was the best person to know when my medication was working or not. I highly recommend him. I went to Dr Iqbal in April, for an ADHD diagnosis, his professionalism was outstanding and made me feel at ease. Booking an ADHD assessment with Dr Iqbal has quite literally changed my life (27 year old woman), I cannot recommend Dr Iqbal and IAmPsychiatry enough. Most thorough and professional, whilst also patient and understanding, Dr Iqbal far exceeded all my expectations. I have struggled a lot with self-acceptance and confidence around the topic of my neurodiversity having had come from an environment where such issues are labelled “normal” or just non-existent. Furthermore, I have often been sceptical about certain types of psychological assessments and individuals in the field due to the limited amount of standardized and objective assessment methods used for diagnosis. Having gone through my ADHD assessment with Dr Iqbal was one of the most validating experiences in my entire life. He quickly recognised my hesitation around some of the questions and took an approach of gathering concrete examples of my past instead of just asking me broad questions (like I experienced elsewhere). He ultimately made sure that I was perfectly comfortable and confident with any of the answers before drawing any conclusions. Currently, I am happily stable on my medication and feel much more functional, despite having had initially dismissed the idea of trying any meds due to some of my paranoia. Throughout the titration process, Pam & Iqbal had been also incredibly patient and supportive and answered my likely highly excessive amount of questions and concerns. Literally life changing. I was so nervous ahead of my appointment but Dr Iqbal was calm, warm and friendly and made it easy to share things I’ve been too embarrassed to speak about before. I was able to speak with complete honesty because there was no judgement, only understanding and reasons for these behaviours. I left my appointment feeling positive - something I hadn’t felt in a very long time. He is always so warm and understanding whenever I speak with him. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Dr Iqbal was highly professional and thorough in his assessment, whilst providing a relaxed, judgement-free atmosphere in which I felt as if my concerns were being listened to and understood. Dr Iqbal is fantastic - his approach is inclusive and understanding, and he has a wealth of experience. I have felt able to be honest with him about my difficulties, and he has engaged with me as a client without stigma or prejudice. I have a fairly complicated history, and he carried out a very thorough assessment for ADHD. After being diagnosed with ADHD, I started medication and have found the regular reviews very helpful. My therapist suggested that I may wish to explore ADHD as a cause for many of my frustration and anxiety issues. This is after 20 years of depression, anxiety and other mental problems.
