During my consultation, all my questions and concerns were clearly answered and Jim Davies, Senior Podiatrist, talked me through the various options for treatment. I am so happy I decided to book a foot assessment with Active Step. Jim is a lovely practitioner who has invested so much time and care getting to the bottom of the reoccurring stress injury that had been stopping me from running. As a runner himself, Jim's sport-specific knowledge and passion for getting athletes back running is very apparent. I am now pain free with a pair of orthotics to help prevent the issue arising again. Jim has reassured I can contact him for support throughout the process if I need it. An excellent experience.

Absolutely superb experience - we took our 12 year old here just before Christmas and cannot fault their care and expertise in dealing with his ingrowing toe nail. Jim was excellent in explaining everything from our first consultation through to surgery and then the after care follow ups. Every question was answered in a clear and understandable manner and our son was put at ease every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend as they are brilliant and really care about their customers. A really big thank you from all of us.

We came across active step on Google when looking for help with our 9 year old son suffering with foot pain. Amazing customer service and exceptional care from my previous experience at Active Step Foot & Ankle Clinic. If you have problems with your foot (I had an ingrown toenail...) better contact them rather than waiting weeks/months for the NHS to contact you back 😉

Fantastic service, very warm and welcoming on arrival and Alice was great, my appointment was very thorough and everything was fully explained so I understood. Next steps were all explained fully and I received a summary report of my appointment the very next day.

Amazing clinic. They treated both of my sons ( three years apart) who had ingrown toenails. Provided a very effective and pain free service. Instant pain relief on both occasions. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Very nice friendly staff, this was our second visit and again very positive experience. I like that Jim asked ollie( my son) how his injury is and not me. After having foot pain for 18months I received a flyer made an appointment and after having custom orthoses made it was as quick as 2weeks to start making a difference and what a difference I can now be on my feet at work all day and not feel I'm walking on broken glass.

We got a same day appointment. Mike had fungal nail infection, an open wound and painful Athlete’s foot. These were all greatly improved after the initial visit. It felt quite miraculous! Not cheap but well worth the money.

Jim has changed my life. I had very painful Plantar fasciitis and had been suffering for many years but within a few months of treatment and advice on exercise I felt a real improvement and now have been discharged from the treatment as I feel fully fit. I can walk for miles where as before I couldn’t even walk my little Yorkie around the block. Thank you Active Step and of course Jim. 😃

I went to Active Step after trying over the counter products as well as other podiatrists for years while my condition was getting worse instead of better. The service I got at Active Step couldn't have been any better and I've just been discharged successfully after 12 months of treatment. Jim, Zoe, Sophie and the rest of the team are not only highly professional, but also very personable and I cannot recommend them enough.

I contacted Active Step for an emergency appointment as I had an extremely painful ingrown toenail. The team were fantastic and able to fit me in the following day.
