crafty bug cafe is a small but lovely cafe located on bridge road woolston southampton.. just across the road from savages freezer shop.. it has a small table area inside, but plenty of seating outside allowing for a friendly chat" a smoke" or a bite to eat" whilst enjoying a wiff" of fresh air' whilst taking in the surroundings the grubs great! and the staff are polite" too! they do have a real loving cat that likes to snuggle up near ya' feet.. but trust me the cats (no real bother) you're generally served by one of two woman of a gentile nature, and they are quite pleasant to talk to. you get the same feel as you would when waiting on mums cooking.. (I loved it") i remember the area way back in my early years "before itchen Bridge" we lived on oak bank road visited dixons cafe on the end of our road got our sweets from sparkys opposite the Itchen toll bridge and often spent our time riding back and fourth on the floating bridge & chatting to Mrs green who ran the floating bridge cafe sadly theirs no houses on oak bank road anymore! just a car park no floating bridge. no sparkys sweet shop. no mrs greens cafe. and no dixons cafe. but i loved my visit just the same! so' wether just passing through or visiting and looking for a bite to eat" give it a try! they won't disappoint.

We went to the bug Caffè today, and I must say, how amazing it was and how surprised I was as from the outside, you don't see the hidden gem that's behind these windows. We all had a great time, and I can definitely say, WE'LL BE COMING BACK! amazing place and such great staff. Superb x You can do painting, pottery, drawing, card making, sewing... Anything your heart desires. Fantastic

First visit today! It’s amazing, and most importantly, the ladies working there are so lovely and chilled ! Coming back as soon as I can! Kids can splash around and play with toys , and I gather there are some arts and crafts groups you can partake in which are much cheaper than I would have guessed . Coffee very tasty, and the cheesecake I had was delicious.

First time visiting and will be back. Children did some pottery and had a good play with the toys. Had lunch there too, gluten free options ! And dairy free options. Very accommodating to families. Highly recommend. Just be sure to check opening hours on their Facebook.

Known of this place since it first opened, but never been in there....even with all the amazing things I hear. Today we had a birthday party here, the place is lovely. Everyone is so welcoming, the organising is spot on. Everyone was very relaxed and all children had a lovely time. Highly recommended πŸ‘Œ

Excellent service. Only popped in for a bacon and egg sandwich, it was fantastic. Made exactly how I like it. Staff are very friendly. What was the best part though, is that dogs are welcome. This is a great selling point as the cafe is situated right next to Peartree Green.

Been multiple times before with my daughter, and she thoroughly enjoys it. Great range of craft activities and pottery to paint. Lovely end result for the pottery too after it goes in the kiln...I can't understand why they have so many items that customers don't return to collect! Lovely helpful staff, especially Lisa of course. 5 star effort in ensuring she caters for coeliacs too. You can tell the staff enjoy working at the crafty bug.
