Came in to get my daughter some Doc Marten's as an 18th birthday gift. We were served by Izzy who spent almost an hour with us, getting different boots out for my daughter to try, assisting to make sure the fit was correct and giving us great info to help break them in and aftercare. At no point did we feel rushed and cannot praise Izzy enough for her genuine friendly manner and great customer service.

This is the no.1 shoe store in Plymouth overall. I might argue for footlocker if you're someone who is interested in the super flashy high end Jordan's etc. But the customer service and variety at Schuh is unmatched. As well as the prices they have: at certain times of years they have excellent discounts and their 10% student discount can stack on top of any sale price. Staff are super friendly at helping you find the right fit/style and answering any questions you might have.

Down visiting my daughter this weekend and popped in to get her some pumps for the gym, Faye was super helpful and friendly and although not into weights herself had enough knowledge to make recommendations for my daughter even when the shoes she originally wanted weren't available in her size. Nice store, friendly staff, good prices, just a shame about the size availability.

Went in for last minute xmas shopping, two girls standing at the entrance no greetings, I was looking at the boots section and needed to know the price of an item, asked one of the girls for help, she instantly looked angry at why I had interrupted her chat with the other girl. She came to me and with a nasty attitude told me "prices are under the shoes and to look", I said they're in the sales section and the full price was on the tag and she said "yeah it's not on sale then" with more sass. Not sure if staff get any customer service training and if attitude is criteria to be hired as salesperson? I was only asking for help and sorry for having disturbed her with my silly questions...

Got served today by a lovely lady named Faye and she was so kind. Very thorough with everything and made me feel like a very valued customer. She also had lots of very interesting topics to discuss and we had a lovely conversation. The prices were great too, and found that the own brand shoes were actually the best quality. Highly recommend this place.

Brought my first pair of DMs here. Really friendly professional staff, particularly the girl who served me and her supervisor on the day. Noghing was too much for them, must of tried on 7 or 8 different pairs! Great customer service, keep it up!

Excellent service, we first went in to buy my grandchildren their school shoes, I think the lady was called Catlin she was Excellent how she spoke to the children was brilliant, they felt important ( which they are) and Catlin listened to what they were saying and got the shoes the children where very happy with, I ended up buying 3 pairs of Vans, great customer service, have been back and brought more vans oops, great shop and staff are very friendly and attentive will return soon

Excellent customer service from the lovely lady that served us today. Vans and converse shoes...think her name was Sheridan..nothing was too much trouble for her..she made both my daughter's feel comfortable trying the shoes on..made suggestions for the ones not available..very knowledgeable about the Dr .martens we were looking at.will visit again..thanks for all your help.

Dreadful customer service. You wait politely for someone to measure, and the manager just ignores you. 25 minute wait and no shoes. Dreadful!!!!!
