We booked the back to back owl experience and hawk walk for our anniversary. What an experience it was! Not only was it wonderful to get to see these beautiful creatures so up close, but we learned a lot about them from our guides (Kate and Alice), which only made us love and respect them more. I can honestly recommend this somewhat hidden gem on the outskirts of Bath, and one pretty much on our doorstep. The team were so welcoming and friendly, which only enhanced our two hours with these birds. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you to all at West of England Falconry, not just the unique day, but all the wonderful rescue and conservation work you do.

What a wonderful place for the birds! Kate was our owl expert and you could tell how much she and all that work there love what they do and each bird they encounter! The owl flying was such a fun and learning experience, I would recommend completely!

I had such a beautiful birthday doing a hawk walk. Alice & Naomi are clearly both very passionate & knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of feeding Travis the Harris Hawk & it was a wonderful experience. I also watched the afternoon bird show which was excellent. I really enjoyed seeing all of the owls up close too. I would highly recommend the Hawk Walk; it made for a very memorable birthday. Entrance to see the birds & watch the talk is only £5. I can't wait to visit again!

Fabulous facility with stunning owls and informative flying displays. Book early for private encounters. Great for the whole family.

A really lovely organisation. We did a Hawk Walk which was excellent and included a guided tour of the rest of the birds. If you're planning to do the same then skip the crowds and pick a day when they're not otherwise open for visitors. All the staff were very welcoming and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely come back again

My family and I took the owl experience package and thoroughly enjoyed it. We each in turn met 3 different owls and had them land on the special gauntlet on our hand / wrist and the young guide was very knowledgeable about each bird. We were allowed to take as many photos and shoot as much video as we wanted. My son took some slo mo video of one of the owls in flight and from this you could see the full beauty of the owl in motion.

Booked the Hawk Walk for two people.. What an amazing experience. A privilege to spend time with such a magnificent creature. All the staff were amazing and so kind. If we are ever in the area again we will book the owl experience. Thanks to everyone at WOEF.

I enjoyed the visit so much! Never had a change to hold owls or a hawk on my arm before but I fell in love with them. The girls talking about the animals there are very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

We booked both the Owl Experience and the Hawk Walk for our daughter and friends for her birthday. All of the team gave us a relaxed, fun, safe and fascinating insight into the lives and behaviours of some spectacular birds. The guides shared so many great facts about the birds and made sure everyone had an amazing time. We took lots of truly unique photos to go along with our memories of the whole experience. The museum is a great addition and their conservation work is admirable. We are thoroughly pleased with our decision to take them here. Thank you all very much!

It deserves more than 5 stars, this place is Excellent!!! My partner and I booked the owl experience and it was just fantastic, we got to fly 3 different owls and we learnt all we could about them from our guides (Their knowledge is astounding) The centre, although not big, is a great place to visit. The staff are so friendly and will happily tell you all the information you would like to know about every bird they have at the centre, it is really great to see how much they care about these birds. I honestly could go on about this place, Please go and see it for yourself! Well done and a personal thank you to all the staff you really are doing an amazing job!

Excellent. A great experience. Informative and educational. A wonderfully run centre by three extraordinary young women. Extremely high standards of care for the resident and rehabilitated birds. Worth every penny. A wonderful day out. An amazing opportunity to get close to these beautiful birds and and watch them fly.

As a lover of wildlife conservation, this place is a MUST visit for anyone, young or old. Entry is cheap and all the money goes to supporting rehabilitation and conservation efforts; flights are incredible to watch and it's amazing to see how well the birds are looked after and how passionate the staff are. 🪶

An absolutely exceptional Owl Encounter experience, with the very knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly Claudia. An amazing welcome, and simply a brilliant morning learning all about, and meeting some beautiful birds. This experience far surpassed our expectations, and we loved every minute. This was entirely down to our host Claudia, and the fact her knowledge and passion for birds of prey was matched only by her hosting. We can’t recommend this place enough. We’ve been smiling all day.
