Had a brilliant morning here with a bunch of friends learning how to make hand tied flower arrangements. Very professional, very friendly, well styled and well run! Fabulous place to try your hand at something new…and chocolate and fizz on hand too. Only a 10 minute walk to Salts Mill too!

It was such a pleasure, unlimited Prosecco, such friendly staff and so helpful. Had the best time and they set such a great atmosphere with music and having a great laugh while painting. Such a great combination, thank you so much for having us.

We celebrated my sisters 29th Birthday here and it was the BEST. TYRO hosted us so well. Our glasses were always full, they are attentive and create space for so much fun! Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful hidden gem in Shipley, I visited Yvonne’s studio for their pop up shop. I treat myself to some lovely pieces from local makers & Yvonne was so warm & welcoming. I will definitely be booking onto their workshops next year & recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax & enjoy some creative time.

An excellent beginners workshop on basket making with Tabara. She explained everything clearly, and everyone was successful in their first attempt in this new skill. The studio was calm and conducive to creativity. We'll be on the look out for other workshops. All I need to do now is finish my basket!

I've been to a number of workshops at Tyro (paint & sip and a floristry class) and each time I came away feeling inspired! I love trying new hobbies and Tyro is the perfect place to do that! Yvonne and Issy have created such a warm, welcoming studio, and the finer details (chocolate/drinks/interior design) all add to the experience! Would highly recommend booking a class to try your hand at something creative! Plus it's a great place to meet like minded people!

This review has been a long time coming...we had the pleasure of hosting my sister's bridal shower at Tyro in October 2022. Communication with Yvonne was great and the pressure of arranging a bridal shower was definitely lifted off my shoulders. I chose which workshop we wanted to complete (dry flower wreath making) and flavour and colour scheme of the cake (which was included in the price). The night itself was really fun, the bridesmaids loved making their dry flower wreaths- and the bottomless cups of tea definitely went down a hit. I would 100% recommend Tyro for any parties or special occasions you may have coming up. Booking a package for a set price with various things included (i.e cake balloons etc) is really helpful. Thank you Yvonne, we will hopefully be back soon!

This is such a beautiful new venue in Shipley and Yvonne is just the best host. Sally, who taught calligraphy, was fabulous. If you’re looking for a fun night with friends doing something’s different this is it! Great little touches throughout and we even got to take our own ink and pen home as a gift! Would recommend to anyone! Ps go for the Rose it’s divine.

Beautiful pottery making class with Yvonne for my Mum’s 60th. The studio is beautiful and our sessions included balloons, cake and fizz to make the day extra special. I will most definitely be coming back again. Thank you!

I went to Tyro Studios to do the floral arranging workshop, it was excellent. I learnt so much about floral care and how to put a good bouquet together! The customer service, the drinks, the teacher and the environment were all amazing. I highly recommend this session to anyone wanting to learn something new or if you want to go home with a nice bouquet of flowers!

From painting to pottery workshops and everything in between! I really cannot recommend Tyro studios workshops enough - their super welcoming hosting team and friendly and informative tutors are all coupled with great refreshments.
