Rob at Lumbers delivered world class customer service. We had visited other locations in Leicester to get my fiancé an engagement watch however those experiences were extremely stiff and one dimensional. The experience at Lumbers was in a whole other universe, we felt welcomed, we wasn’t rushed, Rob was happy to share his knowledge on all the watches tried on. It turned out to be the easiest purchase we’ve made. Thank you!

I have been into this store twice in the last 12 months. First time I received a very cold welcome. I was looking to buy a luxury watch but the one I wanted wasn't available, the chap I spoke to said he might be able to get it by the new year. I didn't hear anything so ended up buying from Pragnells. This was a bit of a shame and I would have thought touching base with me at some point would be good practice. I am now in the market for a further watch and thought I would visit again. After another even worse welcome (perhaps its the way I look) I tried on a couple of Tudors and the one I really liked wasn't available as it was reserved for another customer. Then it wasn't! and I could have purchased it that day. I was confused, was it really reserved or that that untrue. Or would this company be willing to let me have it and leave a repeat client (their words) disappointed? Either way I needed to think before parting with £3000 so I took a business card and then followed up with an email to say I was looking to buy either that model or put me on a waiting list. this was a couple of weeks and no reply so back to Pragnells I guess.

Have to say we were so impressed with the shop and the staff. Wanted an assessment of some jewellery we had been left and Raj was so thorough, polite and offered a very fair price. Seems to us a shop with integrity who we can trust.

Dear Dominic Gomersall I visited Lumbers to replace a gold chain for my wife's sentimental necklace. I had to wait a few weeks for the chain to be shortened but wasn't notified when it it ready to collect, I had to enquire. Upon collection I was shocked to received it in a horrible plastic bag. I was more than happy to pay extra for a gift wrapped box for my wife but wasn't even given the option, presentation means a lot!! I visited Lumbers for a quality service but found myself disappointed, although I was happy with the product.

Fantastic customer service from Jenni. Bought a ring for my daughter’s Xmas and stupidly didn’t give the size I needed. So after Xmas I emailed to ask to return it and have it in the correct size. Jenni has been great thru the whole process keeping me up to date with everything. Will definitely be using this company in the future. Defo 5 stars

1 star for the dreadful background soundtrack on the Sky News/GBNews channels for your Jewellers …. We have to turn the volumn down. On a positive note, the acting out and jewellery look very nice …. It just needs a different soundtrack (classier.)

If it wasn't for the lovely sales assistant Julia that we have dealt with up until today, I would give 0 stars, so this star is purely for her. After calling to enquire about cancelling an order, I was met with a rather rude gentleman who continued to speak over me, would not let me explain and continued to be aggressive over the phone. I would rather lose the deposit we paid, than deal with a company who allow a staff member to treat customers terribly. I am sorry if this gentleman was having a bad day, but it doesn't excuse poor attitude.

Buying a watch or a item of jewellery is difficult even after all your research either on line or at the jewellers. During the sales process a good sales person will listen to you to understand your needs. At Lumbers I got exactly that, during the process I had a serendipity moment & now have exactly what I want on my wrist. I bought an engagement ring from Lumbers a few weeks ago and was extremely impressed with the service I received from start to finish. I was fortunate to be given an appointment with Michelle and I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from her, she was kind, honest, understanding and, of course, very knowledgeable. Michelle guided me through the process from start to finish and I ended up with a beautiful ring that my now fiancé loves.

I went to Lumbers today to have my engagement ring removed, it was too small, and resized. I was looked after by Tony who eased me through a fairly uncomfortable experience expertly. He also provided some excellent information on some of my other Jewellery and organised a valuation for me. He also showed me beautiful he thought I would like based on our discussion. I have always had outstanding customer service from Lumbers and I will be using their services again. Thank you.

We popped into the shop to browse the wedding rings and walked away with 2 on order after a brilliant experience. Scarlett was welcoming and helped us to select rings we loved based off a few very loose ideas. The experience made us feel so special and nothing was too much. Angela was also lovely and cleaned up my engagement ring for me. Would recommend Lumbers - thanks again Scarlett you made our experience 5 star ⭐️ We can’t wait to return to collect the rings!
