👍 My local Gurudwara. A lovely place to go and ease life's worries. My wife and son love going. Staff are friendly too. Thay also offer some extra curricular stuff for kids. The only downfall with the area is the lack of parking. People often mention Guru,

Yesterday i went to the Guru Nanak Gurudwar ,Holy Bones, I have been there before many years ago.I went in observing all the rules to show respect, taking shoes off, washing, been respectful, or so I thought,, went in to the prayer room and due to a bad back i sat down observing, after a few minutes a man came in jesturing to me to up the free black head gear which was 15 feet away and hand it to me without the fuss.I was asked if I wanted some food, which is traditional, I accepted a small amount to be polite and eat it all, which is traditional, as they do not like waste, I took my steel dish back to the kitchen and said Thank You, the person in the kitchen just looked at me, turned round and carried on talking. It was frosty outside, but not half as frosty to the reception i received, with one exception, the gentleman who greeted me through the office window,on reflection, this person would be more beneficial if he was there to meet and greet and tell the visitor to any rules that they should know to make their visit memorable You would have to ask if they have a lift for wheelchair etc, as I had to climb up a flight of steel stairs.

Any Gurudwara is at least a 5 star. Beautiful interior, modernised, peaceful calming, friendly and welcoming. Only problem is lack of parking otherwise even the location is brilliant.

Worst place when it comes to footwear. I lost a shoe there. When I complained to the management they said nothing can’t be done. Though they have a cctv everywhere. Next time when I went there I Iost the crocs. And one guy told to check at the back of place and it was found. When I enquired why it was here, old man said someone used without knowing, such a stupid excuse to hear. The people inside will purposely steal your footwear and use it. It’s such a sacred place but people like this will spoil the name.

Any pilgrim without any hesitancy would humbly review with a 5 star rating, as of course, a Gurdwara is a place that omits peace, unity, and spirituality as well as a common community feel'.. Having attended the Holy bones Gurdwara after such a long time, I however was very disappointed to see such a "Greyed-out" look, in all areas of this gurdwara. Its sad to acknowledge, that someone or a group of people have regarded this uncalled for common colour that is becoming a state of fashion in the "celeb scene" to take place in a Gurdwara?!... Forgive me if I offend however, the look' this gurdwara once had, was of Royalty, which further omitted a sense of "HERITAGE" which i personally believe all Guru Nanak Gurdwara usually possess... A sense of individuality and royality... This Greyed-out themse has not only stolen away 'colour' but has given me a bland feel, and i felt a sense of loss of heritage' that once made this wonderful place of worship, that much more distinctive in itself.... What a big shame...

Any place where my Guru resides is a 50000/5 rating! As it happens, this is one of my go-to Gurdwaras, everything is excellent.
