Holy Cross preaches the Christian values of helping others yet did not help a friend of mine who was in a bad place. She turned to the church in desperation for help with her abuse and was turned away. Her mother donated to the church and will no longer donate anymore. She could have been referred to a church that could help or a charity for guidance (whether religious or not) but she was given nothing. I do not understand how this is acceptable when it is in your faith to help those in need. It is no wonder so many people are turning away from the faith when you do not practice what you preach. You can go to church on Sunday but if you don't help your community I can't help but see hypocrisy especially since the Churches are always outside the universities handing out bibles yet don't actually do anything to help those students in desperate need as Jesus has told. The church needs to focus more on withholding Christian values of love and charity rather than withholding their empty morals and appearances.

I found peace, solence and Christ in this church. I go mid week though fro the afternoon prayers. I'll forever be so grateful

Like all Holy sites, this Church too had it's serene atmosphere with All faithfuls

I went in to light a few candles. 2 side entrances open most of the time, big double entrance I think open for Sundays etc.

Went for Sunday service on Saturday which is at 18:10 felt very peaceful. Not much crowd. Plenty of room for social distancing. Service timing on their website is not updated. Someone has posted a picture of the masses, that is the current schedule

Catholic Church in Leicester City center with diverse worshipers. A good place to keep sustainan your Christian faith in the city of Leicester.

A larger and older style Dominican Church. Regular mass services available at convenient times. Beautiful atmosphere.

There is so much echo. I can’t hear anything when I come to masses. Shame because it really is a nice church and not far away from where I live.

The church is so beautiful and old to look at, incense burnt during the mass perfumes the air, the priests are very helpful and kind offering all their assistance
