Absolute first class customer service!… I booked my tortoise in for the holiday boarding service; albeit rather nervously as my tort is old, stubborn and rather grumpy so I wasn’t sure if he’d be a bit of a handful and unwelcome! But as soon as I arrived to drop him off for the week I was instantly put at ease with how friendly, passionate and caring the staff are and I left my lil’ curmudgeon dinosaur knowing that he was in safe hands. I am so happy with the service I received that I am hoping to get my old boy booked in for the hibernation service they provide too. Definitely a 5* experience and I cannot recommend Riverview Reptiles enough as the knowledge, experience, care and passion they have for all things scaly would be hard to beat!

Brilliant little reptile shop. Lisa was super helpful and answered all our questions. We loved the shop and all the little beasties. She was patient and helped us choose all the right equipment for a gecko vivarium.

Have sent my Beardy here to stay whilst away on holiday and they are ace. Lovely staff, very friendly and accommodating. The new shop is great too, it's like a mini reptile zoo.

I've been shopping here for a while now for supplies for my other lizard but have recently purchased 4 more and the services and advise from Lisa and Tom is fantastic helped me out in the past after being advised wrong by someone else I cannot thank you both enough for everything since I starting shopping with you guys and the new members seemed to have settled into there new homes. I'm looking forward to my next purchase at the end of the month.

Edit : so on my return to the shop today they were delighted to show me the new ramp they have purchased and asked if I would like to be the first person to try it out. Well if course I would so they put the ramp up against the step and I lined my power chair up ready then boooooom i hit the ramp at 100 miles an hour took off and landed within a cm of the glass display cabinet. 😲😲😲😂😂😂😂😂 I only went and forgot to turn my speed down. Myself my daughter and the shop keeper were in hysterics. Yes there is cctv footage of the whole fiasco which I've gave full permission to share so if your lucky the owner might just pop it up. So on the next step I duly turned the speed down and the ramp was perfect I was able to pick my own dragon food. First visit today to pick up some locusts for my dragons. Nice little shop stocking pretty much everything you need for your reptiles. Good selection of live feed at excellent prices. Bonus that the new born dragons were out my they were so cute 😍. Pleasant owner in store ready to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Only down side was no ramp for disabled access but they did say they were going to fix that soon. You can still get in but the step is quite high so need a carer to help you. New shop i wish them all the luck and good fortune for the future.

I visited only one time unfortunately as I don't live in England. The shop was set up to a very high standard...great variety of products (living or otherwise)....Very knowledgeable staff.. and passionate.... friendly atmosphere...Clean!... Wouldn't be surprised if Tom and Lisa are soon known for running not just the "go to" reptile shop in the Midlands but in the country...

Wonderful shop in sileby. Lots of stock for whatever reptile or terrarium you want. Owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about reptiles. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a little friend.

Riverview hosted a Christmas party today for our nieces and nephews. The hosts were punctual, organised and so friendly! Communication before the event was efficient and their booking system was easy to use. It was a really unique experience for our family, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. It will be something the children remember for a long time! The hosts brought a brilliant selection of animals. The children learnt so much and felt they could ask lots of questions. They held the children’s attention brilliantly, which isn’t easy with a 10 year old and a 2 year old to manage!! It was so lovely to see the children grow in confidence because of the hosts kind and calm temperament. Thank you SO much for making our Christmas party so so special, it’s one we will always remember.

I feel so happy to have finally found a reputable shop where not only are the reptiles are treated with respect and care, but the invertebrates and bugs as well. The staff are so genuine and helped me with my millipedes and set up . Will definitely be back for more creepy crawlers!

Visited the shop to buy Mourning Geckos and the service and advice we received was A+. Wish we knew about the shop earlier for when we set the tank up as they had everything in stock plus more! They really care about the animals as they wanted to see enclosures, temps etc - exceptional service, we will be back!

I haven't been in the shop yet but I already love it since there is lots of different reptiles and they even try to keep them in stock through out the year. If you want to, if you buy a reptile you can also get a whole set with everything you need as a beginner

What can I say this is the best reptile shop we have ever visited!!!!!! Lisa and Tom are such dedicated people to their reptile shop !!!! They have both so much passion and love in this shop that they deserve the custom!!!! My daughter has adhd and this shop is the only place she feels comfortable enough to talk to Tom and Lisa about reptile care !!!! Thank u guys we love u x x

I worked with Lisa many years ago in a pet shop and I've always been mesmerised by her dedication to animal welfare, whatever the cost. She is so passionate about all animals and educating people in giving them the correct care. I've just purchased a Dead Leaf Praying Mantis from her. This is my 4th mantis but the 1st I've bought direct from Lisa, and after only one day he's already my favourite of them all. Lisa made sure I had all the equipment I needed, not just short term but for a good few months, and his food. He came with a detailed care sheet, something that I never got with the others I had ordered online!! He was well packaged in a box clearly labelled as fragile and containing live insects. Lisa clearly puts a lot of care into the pets that she sells regardless of size and value and I wish her every success in her business - I hope other pet shops take note!!
