To those who rate this place as 4/5 stars, they really need to get out more. This has to be the worst place for customer service in this town. Not only are you met with defensive and argumentative staff, if you have opened an item to have a closer inspection at home, there's absolutely no chance of returning it, as is your legal right. You've been warned.. only a matter of time before they're gone.

Argos is a great store I have gotten a lot of stuff from it from toys to tools and not forgetting electrical items. I have also used their delivery service and I could not believe how fast they were I ordered the item the evening before and the van was in my yard the next morning and the driver was very friendly and helpful. So I would if I could give Argos 10 out of 10 for everything.

Shopping here is akin to torture. Terribly dirty unkempt store staffed by the most unhelpful, rude people. Probably so unhappy because it's so understaffed. Took 40 minutes to buy a computer game. Maybe 6 customers in the store and the one staff member looked like she had no idea what she was doing. Three queues but she was just picking people at random to serve and had no idea how to use the computer system. Really odd. A truly horrible place to shop.

I was in Argos this afternoon to buy Earbuds for Christmas presents. I have to thank Claire who met me at the door and helped me at the Monitor to order what I wanted. Thank you Claire for your attention and friendly help. It was very much appreciated.

Fast Track Service I think the Argos Fast Track system is brilliant. No more checking through the catalogue, entering the code to see if they have it in stock, writing the code on the little slip of paper, standing in the queue to pay, and then standing around waiting for your order to come through. Now I just sit at home, browse the Argos website, check availability, order it, and then drive up to collect. Time spent in store is less than five minutes. Seriously, the hardest part of the whole Fast Track service is finding a parking space in the car park. If using the service, I would advise that when you go to the counter, state that you're there to collect a Fast Track order. If you don't, they may be too busy and think you're just waiting for your order number to be called.

Sometimes there is a long wait at the tills because only one usually on. If there is a line at tills staff don't seem too bothered. At least the wait at collection is never very long.

Ordered men's hair clippers on friday 17 August 2018 got an email to confirm collect on Monday went over and they told me that they only received half of there order today but come back next day tuesday and it will definitely be there so went over on Tuesday told it was not there so they extended my reservation date to Thursday 23rd but it will be here on wednesday so over again on wednesday told that it hadn't come in so as my reservation was now Thursday i had to come back today Thursday 23rd over I go again on Thursday night at 7 30pm couldn't believe it once again my order was not there !! They said all they could do was give me a free home delivery in 2 days time what a joke !! I was going away for long weekend and that was no good to me why couldn't they have offered me that on Tuesday

Fail to deliver goods to store on stated dates, staff chaotic. The sooner Argos gives up the ghost the better

This shop has permanently closed (Crescent Link store) , only Argos left in city is in Sainsburys on the Strand Road.
