    They changed to a New recipe and the mixture is awful. It's a sticky mixture and my dog has now an upset stomach. It's a shame as there was nothing wrong with the old recipe and my dog loved it. I will probably have to now look for yet another food provider.

    Ordered at a show as had been looking for something with more nutritional value to it than the raw food my girls were fed…was assured I could cancel at any time should it not be for us. Food turned up when it said it would, loved the packaging. Easy instructions, dogs liked the food but found it’s consistency hard to eat and the smell is very unpleasant. The big issue for me is that it was causing my dogs to do 3/4 poos a day which after being fed raw for so long was an unpleasant surprise. We persisted for a few weeks still giving raw in the morning and pure in the evening but decided it wasn’t right for us. Go online and guess what. You cannot cancel anytime you have to phone them in working hours and simple things like the phone number isn’t one you can just press and ring are silly tactics to get you to forget or not bother… when I rang they started asking me questions about my dog and I didn’t want to answer as just wanted to cancel. Didn’t like this at all. You order online, you should be able to cancel online.

    Love this food. Ordering is easy and you have total control. Wanted to raw feed, but found it really messy and have local supply issues. This is easy to prepare, quick to be delivered and has all the benefits of raw without the hassle. (We have a very small freezer). Plus all the packaging is recyclable! Tried other online suppliers, but not happy with carb level and dog wouldn’t eat it. My dog will actually eat this which is half the battle for us.

    My Labrador puppy has been on this pet food since I bought him home …for 3 months now. He loves it. He has the salmon flavour and chicken flavour. His coat is shiny, he’s had no digestion issues and he always looks forward to his mealtimes. Always a clean bowl…immediately! I really like the ease of using the website for updating his weight and understanding the portion size etc.. Service from Pure Pet food has been excellent. Can highly recommend.

    The food is thick and sticky and our dog won't entertain it, she's getting old now and likes small bites, not pasty clumps. Big red flag for this company is there is no way to cancel your subscription without calling them, this is the only company I've come across recently that still does this and is a barrier to cancellation as not all people feel comfortable talking over the phone. Cancellation should be possible in app, or on the website. the only way this practice makes sense is to grab some extra money from disgruntled customers. I'd steer clear till this malpractice is changed.

    Absolutely criminal behaviour! I was foolish to give this company my credit card number! Initially, I ordered two weeks supply of their dog food, to see if my dog would like it. My dog absolutely hated his new food. Regrettably, this company operates in “call to cancel option”, unlike most other companies where customers could contact to place an order! I emailed to cancel the order, followed by a phone call. During the phone call I discovered that the Pure Pet Food had charged my credit card 7 days before the dispatch of the next order! Also, I was told that they needed 3-5 “working days” to read my email! I believe that this company uses this tactic to charge as much as possible and cheat people out of their money. I was also informed that if I chose to send a month’s supply back (of course, I would need to encourage the Royal Mail costs!!!), they would reimburse me! It is worthwhile mentioning that the shipping costs would nullify any mitigation in financial losses. I strongly advise all pet owners to avoid this company. There are so many other more ethical companies that one could deal with. I honestly believe that, the way we were treated was paramount to extortion. The way I was treated is a good way to treat people!

    Ordering is easy, quick and simple using the online account. The food is a great alternative to raw if you are looking for a high quality and nutritious food. Meals are easy to prepare and my 2 dogs absolutely LOVE it! I like that you can order different recipes each month (they have enjoyed all of them so far!). It is easy to change the delivery day when necessary. Stomach issues and bowel functions have improved dramatically. Definitely the best dog food I've purchased. Highly recommend!

    So the food is easily prepared and the dogs, Douglas and Sprout love it. We have found improvements in the bowel functions albeit that having been used to a frozen/de thawed diet, the quantities produced have nearly doubled. The four stars are only due to the packaging/quantity available. With two dogs of different weights the prospect of running low on food at different times of the month is not welcome. That said the delivery and packing regime works very well. Good food delivered well.

    My dogs love this food. We tried Pure after our 6 month old puppy had surgery and was fed chicken and other treats to hide his medication for a number of days, going back to his kibble from this was a no no.... But with this PURE food there was no question, Our 9 year old spaniel is also on this and again a winner every time. The web site is very easy to manage your account and to change the menus. I would highly recommend giving this product a go.

    They use evri for first customers which are Hermes in disguise every parcel I got was smashed up and open delivery was 5 days late , my dog is a raw fed dog and she preferred standard kibble over this baby mush ..... I'd say there customer service was good but all they did was add free things on the next order which I didn't get because my dog wouldn't eat the previous ( customer representatives kind caring nothing wrong with that ) .... Also to add there scoops were 2 different sizes for water and food which was super confusing so I had 2 scoops for water that was different sizes and I had 2 scoops for food which was different sizes ...

    So glad I found this food for my dogs! They absolutely love the food, the first time they ate it they were still licking the bowl for literally 10 minutes afterwards! They have now been on the food for two months and I have nothing but positive comments... we first tried because one of our dogs has just been diagnosed with Epilepsy and it seems to be a healthy option, as he could not tolerate raw. Since starting he has not had a seizure, before they were two weeks apart - could be coincidental but it is certainly good for him! My other Labrador (almost 5 years old) had two random people ask us if she was a puppy in the past week - we have noticed her coat become shinier since starting the new food! Very happy with the delivery and ease of ordering too. And exceptionally pleased we now have a pet food with packaging that is recyclable. Such a great idea to add water afterwards to reduce packaging and transport weight, best of both worlds for us as it is convenient plus the dogs get enough moisture, as one of ours is a very thirsty pup!

    I ordered the food online and the process was easy enough. When the food arrived I realised that it wasn’t going to be suitable for my pup, which isn’t the companies fault. However, when I tried to cancel the subscription I then learned that this has to be done via a phone call. There is absolutely no reason for this when the food was ordered completely online. I suspect it’s an attempt to retain customers. In summary, if you order the food and it works you’ll probably be fine but you should definitely be aware that cancelling the subscription will not be anywhere near as easy as placing it.

    We tried this dog food after being approached at the Devon County Show. The reason for the low score is due to not being given enough time to cancel an automatically repeated order from the time that an email notification comes to being able to phone their office and cancel the order. Apparently, "it had already been shipped". We were told that we could return the food at our own expense, which was due to arrive in 2 - 3 days. The food itself did appeal to our dog, but we found the smell in the house quite unbearable.

    We tried our eldest and most difficult dog with food due to his allergies first to make sure this food would work for him. He had a tummy upset/bug at the time which had lingered too long but with pure and antibiotics he was back to solid within a weekend. His coat was shiny within a week and he's not had a bother with his allergies (keeping 🤞). As soon as he hears the bag opening he runs over waiting for his grub. With him being a success we tried his younger sister and she was a little more difficult with the transition and we thought pure wasn't agreeing with her as she was being sick almost daily. That said she ran out of her old food so we had no choice but to give her pure on its own and the sickness stopped. We thought the consistency of the differing foods were upsetting her sensitive stomach. Both of them are glossy and full of energy. The customer service throughout starting, transitioning and continuing on the food has been amazing. The support team understand how every dog is different and tailor plans to your dogs needs. You and your dog feel heard and understood. 100% recommend!!!

    Our 7 month old rescue Standard Poodle had awful tummy issues. We transitioned him onto Pure from the kibble that came from the rescue center and within 2 weeks he was so much better. When the first full order of the food arrived, for some reason, one of the flavours that he had been fine with during transition (duck) just didn't agree with him - poomageddon, I'm still in therapy. However, one call to the customer service helpline, and a lovely chap Michael arranged for the duck food to be collected and replaced with the salmon that he was doing well with. Replacement delivered and old food collected the very next day, and we're back on track. He loves the food, and I love the service - win/win <3

    Thank you so Much!! We have always been careful about Rosies' Diet but decided to try Pure Food to see if it was any different to others! Rosie has been on Pure Food for 6 weeks now & OMG what a difference! You have given our 12 year old American Bulldog a whole new lease of life, her energy levels have raised & you can tell she is feeling better in herself Her Coat is so shiny her fur is really soft, looks like puppy fur again. Rosie takes a bit longer eating her food now as before it was gone in seconds. (it still all disappears in one sitting lol!) 10/10 from Rosie 10/10 from us - Highly Recommended!!

    I have recently moved my dog over to pure and she absolutely loves it. I've been feeding this food for 6 weeks, twice a day. My usually fussy girl licks her bowl clean and is always eager for her meal. I found pure very easy to transition too and the quality of the product is far superior to dry food. Her coat is gleaming and she is gradually putting back on the weight she lost when refusing to her her dry food. The food is very easy store and prepare and the customer service team are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

    My dog has always had a sensitive stomach but since switching to Pure it has gotten so much better! I started a subscription initially due to the multiple good reviews for dogs with similar issues. One thing I would say is that it did take a good 4 or 5 weeks for my dog's stomach to totally settle and also to get used to the new texture (and for me to figure out the water/food ratio he liked best). I've not needed to speak to the team directly, but email communication has been fast and helpful. Overall recommend Pure and will be transitioning my second (less fussy) dog once his current food runs low.

    A bit of a shaky start - my fussy dog wasn't keen on one of the flavours (I'd already tried the food via Pets at Home before subscribing). Luckily he liked the other and most importantly it's helped his sensitive tum and overactive bowel!! He is now doing a poo two or three times a day not six or seven like he used to!!! I've not given five stars simply because when my second order was due - I struggled to work out how to change the order so I didn't get the food he dislikes. I replied to email as suggested but no response. It was Christmas and I understand less staff. But it was a bit stressful - when I phoned for advice they were helpful.

    I moved the dogs from wet food to Pure, because we were travelling to France, and no wet food is allowed in from the UK. Having made the switch, I'm sticking with Pure, because the turkey option is low fat for schnauzers, who need a low fat diet. My dogs prefer Pure food and get so excited at meal times. It's quick and easy to prepare. There's less plastic waste, and delivery is always on time. It's also excellent value when buying the large pack - saving money is so important these days. So glad we found Pure!
