Just got back from our 4 day trip, to Gambledown farm. We stayed in a Safari tent that slept 6, very comfortably. From the moment we arrived, Rachel made us feel very welcome and explained how everything worked and gave us a tour, of the farm. We stayed at the farm with our grandchildren who are aged 2 and 4, they loved the adventure with the animals and sleeping, in a tent. We also hired a chicken coup, with a laying hen, which the grandchildren loved looking after and collecting the eggs every morning, for their breakfast. The farm is in a great location on the edge of the New Forest and is well maintained and safe. I would highly recommend this place, for families. We are looking to go back again, next year.

I held my first yoga retreat here and it was absolutely wonderful! Right from the initial contact, Tamara and her team were great. The accommodation is simply stunning. As well as being beautifully designed, it had everything we needed and felt cosy and spacious at the same time. Quite a feat. The event barn is beautiful and well kitted out and the gardens are lovely. Make sure you try the pizza on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Although you can have it delivered to your accommodation, it’s such a lovely experience having it in the barn. Thank you Gambledown for a great weekend!

We held our wedding at Gambledown Farm a month ago and had the best day! From the outset Tamara, Rachel and the whole team were great - they were friendly, accommodating and organised. It was lovely to get to know them during the build up to the wedding and they added lovely special touches to the wedding accommodation. We loved that it is a working farm and we could go and see the lambs and our guests commented on how lovely it was. All the accommodation was amazing and it was lovely to have the whole site for the wedding. The team were always there if we needed them but also made the site feel like ours for the weekend. I would highly recommend Gambledown Farm for a wedding, or a holiday, and we’ll definitely be back to visit!

Fab place, lots of do and see in the area. Best pub Greyhound at Broughton. Lovely place to stay, big and spacious with comfy beds. We will be back oh yes, great to see the lambs, cows and sheep plus all the rest of the menagerie. Thank you for looking after us so well nothing was too much bother. The shop was most useful in the barn especially the ice cream.

We had a great stay in a safari tent for 3 nights on the farm. Great place to switch off and spend quality time with friends and family, and run by a fantastic team. Look forward to coming back!!

The Safari Tent exceeded our expectations! Spacious but cosy, lovely shower room, nice soft linen and towels and well equipped kitchen. Beautiful and peaceful location, plus friendly helpful staff. Also highly recommend the pizza from the on-site oven!

We stayed in Staddlestone Barn for a relaxing long weekend visiting Stonehenge and all the New Forest has to offer. Such a beautifully decorated barn with a super comfy bed, huge shower, a lovely little kitchenette & smart tv. A very nice touch with cookies on arrival. Highly recommend and would happily stay again!

What a special place! We visited with our 2yo and 4yo and were at home from the second we arrived. The glamping site and safari tent were so clean and had everything we needed. The bedding was cosy with extra blankets for when the temperature dipped in the evening along with a fire pit outside and log burner inside. We had all the crockery we needed including a cafetière for fresh coffee in the morning. The shower was amazing! The little play area at the far end of the site was a nice touch to the entertain the little ones. Picking fresh eggs from the chicken coop was a treat as well as having our own chicken in a pen outside of our tent to greet each morning. The girls loved feeding the lambs in the evening and saying night night to the cows. We loved stocking up on fresh food from the honesty shop. Who needs electricity and Wi-Fi. It was so nice to be off grid for a few days. Sitting on the decking overlooking the farm fields was so peaceful and just the break we needed. We can’t wait to rebook. A big thank you to the Gambledown Farm team!

We stayed in The Hay Barn at Gambledown Farm and had the most comfortable and cosy stay! It was beautifully decorated, very clean with lots of personal touches like fresh milk in the fridge, homemade flapjacks in a jar, a welcome note. There was a flat screen TV on the wall, armchairs covered with sheep's fleeces, very comfortable bed and great linen. what more can I say! Thanks so much xxx

What a fabulous stay we had at Gambledown Farm this weekend. Rachel was super friendly and full of useful information prior to and right up until meeting her in person during check in. She is a real asset to Gambledown! They have thought of everything here, the safari tents are well equipped, clean and spacious. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for us all. Prior to arriving I was slightly concerned about the size of the "cupboard" bed as it was hard to gauge from the website. But it contains 2 full size single mattresses so is plenty big enough for 2 adults as it the tent for a group of 6. The child size wheelbarrows were an exciting surprise for my little one as were the children's climbing frames and swings. We added a chicken and coop to our booking which was super exciting for the children. They loved taking care of Jenny the Hen during our stay and going to collect the eggs she laid us. The honestly shop is well stocked and the giant cool box with frozen hot water bottles worked better than I could have imagined and kept things cool for our 2 night stay. I note comments in previous reviews about the check out procedures but in my opinion I didn't find them honorous at all, it was basically an ask to tidy after ourselves and put it back as we found it (minus the full clean) which I would expect from any self catering accomodation! Given the size of our party we found this to be great value for money and we hope to bring our wider family back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Safari tents are very specious and contains everything you need. A nice bathroom with hot water, very practical kitchen will all necessary equipment, a wood burner, a sofa, dining table, picnic table outside, barbecue, a separate camp fire place etc. We were able to collect eggs ourselves. Also it was a great experience for kids to feed lambs. I would definitely go there with friends and do not hesitate to recommend anybody. Only thing I could mention is a bit exaggerated before checkout expectations. You are supposed to remove bed sheets, towels and carry them to near honesty shop, wash dishes, clean barbecue and woodburner ashes, carry your bin all the way to the honesty shop to throw into the bin...

Would highly recommend Gambledown Farm. Tamara and the team were so accommodating and our barn was perfect - everything we needed as a family with two young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Myself and another Teacher held a 3 night Yoga retreat at Gambledown farm last weekend and we were blown away as well as our guests by the venue and support before hand. It was just perfect. It's rare to find a venue with such a large Yoga space so that was a big plus and the barns are just beautiful and held the 13 of us very comfortably. We would definitely return . Thank you Tamara and Team!
