Wow! What brilliant help I’ve been given by Howard in the Computer Repair Centre. Knowledgeable, kind and endlessly patient. People like him restore my faith in the human race. Thank you very much. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

My son in law who is an IT specialist was unable to repair my computer as it would have very time consuming. He took to the shop, very helpful, gave a price, repaired in two days. The alternative would have a drive to Southampton or posting it, this time and safer. Highly recommend, well done guys. Far, far cheaper than a replacement worth a visit before you replace to check this shop out, could save you lots of £’ssssssss

I left a very positive review for these guys about a year ago. Since then they have upgraded my Packard Bell system from Windows7 to Windows10 and replaced the Hard Drive with a 2 Terabyte solid state drive (SSD). Not only did the Computer Repair Centre do a great job, they increased the overall speed of the system to the extent that I now experience virtually no time lag regardless of the task. They also saved me around £500 compared to buying a new system. The icing on the cake was taking the computer to them in the morning and collecting it that same afternoon...Brilliant! (A previous similar review was accidentally routed to another Romsey based company)

My laptop had slowed right down. Dropped it off, had message with solution shortly after and collected end of day. Efficient service.

Always so helpful and generous, often they will repair minor issues immediately or within a few hours. I had a complete hard drive replacement and back up completed with 48hrs. Couldn’t ask for better service and all a short walk from home.

Had severe problems with ads interrupting my mobile phone apps. Spent ages trying to solve the issue including a phone call from Google which was overriden by an ad! Finally while in Romsey saw this shop. They solved the issue within 30 minutes for a nominal charge. Really helpful & friendly staff

I took in my laptop here because it wouldn't start and kept shutting down. They took it and cleaned it and did a windows replacement. So I took it home it seemed to be working ok at first then it started shutting down. So I phoned up and the sales assistant (Charlie) and he told me to bring it in again. When I got there I told him everything that was wrong with it, he glared at me and told me that if I needed anything else done that I would have to pay the difference. I (reluctantly) left my laptop and got told that the problem was that my laptop wasn't compatible to windows 11. I'm not an IT expert but I knew it wasn't just this got it home and what do you know it kept shutting down again! In the end I had to get in contact with the owner of the store to resolve the issue and eventually he realised there was a serious problem with it and he did give me a full refund. I will say the owner was friendly and handled the situation well but the whole thing was a nightmare and made worse by the assistants attitude towards me. Basically don't make the same mistake as me and just go some where else.

Very quick, efficient and professional repair work done for my Tablet. Were understanding, knowledgeable and polite whilst doing so, and cheap too. Would definitely come here again.

I took my tower in to be repaired as it kept blue screening. I found out the Widows were not installed properly. They told me that I needed some new RAMs, so I agreed for a price of £235. After 4 days, I collected it and I got home. In 2 days, it blue screened again, so I was told to bring it back. After a couple more days, I collected it again and got it home. Again, it blue screened so I took it back. They told me they would re-install Windows and that they would not charge me. However, when I got it home, it blue screened yet again, so I rang up and took the tower back. This went on around 8 times. Then, I was told it was the motherboard, so they asked me to leave it with them. A week went by before I collected it. Yet again, it blue screened so I asked for my money back. After arguing for half an hour about how he can only give me shop credit, he agreed they would give me my money back, as they couldn't fix it. I took it to a guy in Salisbury and he charged me £90 for what he did. He re-installed Windows and found there was a broken bit from one of the RAM docks which was not broken before I gave it to the original shop (this one). He said "I don't know what they have done, but the files were all over the place." I've had my computer back for 10 days and there has been no blue screen. I only needed 1 RAM replacing and Windows re-installed. I really do not recommend this shop, as they told me 'they could not fix it.' What a joke!

I am no doubt to many the most awkward kind of customer, in so far as I know how to turn a computer on, use them and then turn them off. So in short a challenge to any more computer literate individuals. However, keen to learn I acquired a laptop and contacted, (via a mutual friends recommendation) Howard at the Computer Repair Centre. I explained that I wanted to get it going and learn at the same time. Owing to the fact I live remotely (in South Wales) Howard guided me through how to take the machine apart. How to identify the parts I needed, I ordered the new parts via him and then most crucially he guided me as to how to get it back together and running. This was achieved with great success (I am using the laptop to write this review) and I am so grateful for Howard's time and experience all of which he gave freely and with the utmost patience. In short I have not experienced customer service as exemplary as this in a long time. Having called local computer repair places near me they were all 'yeah bring it in mate and we will have a look' which wasn't what I wanted. Suffice to say I thoroughly recommend Howard and his shops to anyone who wants wonderful customer service and not to be viewed simply as a ££'s sign to make money from! In summary bloody brilliant chap!

Genuinely the best computer Repair Centre. It's the place you can trust! The staff are super friendly and I ended up giving them a £5 tip because they kept the store open for 6 minutes longer for me to collect my computer. Amazing service and highly happy with my expectations.
