Rang 3 times this morning no answer, so took my little boy all excited for his first swim. On arrival I was informed by a man and a woman that they were closed for a casual swim in the little pool as all classes or sessions were listed on their website, which is correct as I had seen that myself. What the website doesn't inform you is that the pool is unavailable any other time aside from the sessions. Very poor and misleading, leaving a little boy extremely disappointed. If I could have left no stars then I would have done

We've just had my 7 year old daughters birthday party here and unlike the previous review we could not fault the staff or the facility. We arrived just after 3pm for a 3.15pm start and the kids were in the pool soon after. The pool attendants were friendly and helpful. The inflatable was ready to go and they even let the weaker swimmers have a go if they were helped by an adult. Everyone had a great time in the water. We used the side area with tables afterwards for food - having seen the area when I booked I had expected to have to arrange the tables but they were all arranged so table cloths, balloons and food boxes on and we were good to go. I'd use for a party again and would recommend to others.

Booked adult swimming lessons here after years of telling myself I would learn. Instructors are very patient, very helpful and have actually taken me from swimming like a rock (not swimming at all) to actually being able to swim. Would recommend the lessons to anyone looking to learn to swim. well worth the price, which is actually quite cheap

Hindley pool always a great place to swim while the kids have been off school there as been a lane swim 14.30 till 15.20 but this as finished now because the kids go back to school

Staff are great and very helpful. The ladies showers could do with a refurb not the best and only two.

Ordinary swimming pool. Quite cheap, not overcrowded, car park just next to it, staff is alright, can't really complain. Just make sure you either give them a ring or check their website before showing up - it's split between schools/swimming lessons and general public.

Been using that pool for 50 years and it's fantastic that it's still as good as it ever was ..long may it remain !!!

Overall, friendly staff, fairly clean and reasonably priced. However in need of repair a better service as regularly put on additional services which affects normal services. Once had to wait over an hour to swim because of an event that was not advertised and the only notice customers got was a hand written note on front door. Edited: after a continued support of this centre I have moved to somewhere better as they keeping closing early and changing opening times, without notice. Just avoid here it saves disappointment

I love doing the backstroke in the little pool! Even the water tastes lovely!

It was so nice.Thank you all,but about the special room for taking shower please refix it if its possible because before I used it and now its difficult for me to take a shower.(I feel shy to take shower out of that room)

I love going there it has the best and cleanest big pool so if you are warm then you know where to go

Taken my 6 year old grandson for his swimming Lesson. Which he really enjoys, also made friends with the rest of his swimming class.
