Went here as a treat for a girls day out. Saw online it looked cozy, so I called in the morning to book an afternoon tea. Most places make you book 24 hours in advance, but they don't seem to and squeezed us in the same day. They were so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The staff was friendly and the owner (?) Made sure to stop by table, make small talk and check everything was excellent. Scones were so nice! It was so much food for 2, we ended up taking cake home. The brownies were amazing!!! Prices were beyond reasonable (26 for 2 poeple). Love they even have a cute outdoor area. Don't be fooled; that's it hidden in such an unsuspecting area. An ABSOLUTE gem : )

Lovely little cafe, quiet when we went which I think affected the atmosphere. The young lady that served us was polite and pleasant. The owner(I believe) was a lovely chap. Food was delish, and the cakes fantastic.

I didn't have food so can't rate. Lovely little bolt hole on a very dark,wet afternoon. Beautiful environment, warm and cosy. Only criticism.....I ordered a cappuccino and it was frothless.....more like a flat white. Didn't complain though as it was very hot and tasted good. Lovely staff and busy little place. An oasis in Emneth.

The food here is really good value for money & of a high standard (especially their fried breakfasts). All the staff are very friendly & the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. The owners are always so friendly, going above and beyond to make sure everything is great, and to really personalize the service, remembering minor details about customers lives. Martin is incredibly attentive but never overly so. The food is delicious and as vegetarians they always have more than one option which is hugely appreciated. The soup is very tasty and the cakes are incredible. Wish we could do more to support them! Absolute gem and credit to the village. Lovely gardens and beautifully decorated too!

Lovely little restaurant. Beautiful outside area . Little box of toys 🧸 for the children to play with. Massive portions. We only went for desserts but the mains that where going out looked 👌 we will definitely be returning for a meal. We had milkshake, banana split, waffles with strawberry and banana added ice cream. And a children's ice cream. Absolutely gorgeous all of it.

This is an absolute gem of a place. The food is always absolutely amazing. The decor throughout is stunning and so so cosy, warm and welcoming. The staff are out of this world. So so friendly and polite and efficient. The owners. Marty. And Ginny are just utterly adorable. The sweetest most friendly and kind owners I've ever met🥰. TOTALLY love this place.

Ginny is a total superstar. These photos really don't do her cakes justice. I've asked Ginny to cater the cakes for events I run for the last 3 years and she's always overdelivered. We usually opt for a 'normal' option, a gluten free option and a vegan option and any mix thereof. They always go down a storm with so many complements during and after the event. Not only is Ginny easy to work with and reliable, she's also a lovely person. What's not to love!? I can wholeheartedly recommend her for your catering needs, both sweet and savoury. She's my go to girl when I'm running events.

Stopped here with my daughter on a cycle ride. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic cake but sadly no fruit scones.

A bustling cafe in what was one of the village pubs. Good food, good prices, and friendly helpful staff. The coffee was very good too.

Always great food and drinks. Always made to feel welcome. They also offer a delivery service. Fresh food prepared daily. Cakes are to die for.

Valentines forenoon, my wife and I turned up for breakfast 😋, the food was the best we've had in a long time. The service was excellent, a smile 😃 goes a long way to make anyone's day, and here we were treated to a wonderful one from our waitress, who was a happy soul, nothing was a problem for her. We thank sweet things savoury for making our day.

Fantastic hosts, fantastic food. Given up takeaways as this is healthier and cheaper and now we are regulars!

Took hubby for a birthday breakfast!! What wonderful service and the mega breakfast was MEGA! We both thoroughly enjoyed our morning breakie and are full to the brim!! Hubby says he has never had a wonderful breakfast like it!! Thank you Sweet things Savoury!! Delish!! 😋

I would highly recommend the team at Sweet Things Savoury! From ordering to pick up, everything was straight forward and easy! When picking up the cake I was made to feel so welcome and even got a shop to car delivery with the cake! The best part was my hug at the end. The cake was so beautifully decorated and so fluffy. We picked up the cake on Saturday morning and it still tasted fresh and fluffy by the last piece on Wednesday morning. Thank you again team and we will surely be ordering again!

This is my first purchase from Sweet Things Savoury. I bought this boucake for my wife on Mother's Day and she was absolutely thrilled! The cakes taste very good and the presentation was so life like. I will definitely be ordering from Sweet Things Savoury again.

Lovely people very friendly. The chicken roast is so nice. Other family members had beef and gammon and enjoyed it. Huge portions. Cakes, iceream loads of "sweet things" too . Yummy 😋

Beautiful interior cozy and warm staff. Food was cheap and amazing values. I was going to take a photo of how big my jacket potato with cheese and beans (and homemade colesaw) was but it was so delicious it was gone before I could take a photo. Will be definitely be coming back with my friends!

Coffee and cake in the outside seating area was great just watching the world go by. Parking literally outside and friendly family atmosphere with the lovely Ginny. Would come again for the events and theme nights

From first discussions with Ginny at Sweet Things Savoury, we knew she was going to provide us with an incredible wedding cake. We did not want to go for anything traditional and merged a few ideas together that Ginny was completely happy to work with. We were blown away with our wedding cake as were all of our guests! A massive thank you to Ginny and the team at Sweet Things Savoury for the regular contact, and ultimately the best wedding cake we have ever seen!

Today we celebrated a baby shower at sweet things savoury. The food and service were amazing. We booked in for traditional Christmas afternoon tea and it was nothing but beautiful, so much food that we had to bring some home. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Overall such a lovely place to go and visit x
