We booked the Lands End 2hr boat trip from Penzance for our whale loving 6 year old last week. As a family we had an absolutely fantastic time. Jack and Eden were really knowledgeable on the local wildlife and landscape. The boat ride was both fun and educational and worth every single penny. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to see any dolphins or whales on our trip but that wasn’t through lack of trying. Jack knew how passionate my son was about whales and tried so very very hard to find some for him. We were even late back due to his efforts. Despite no whale or dolphin sightings we loved seeing the seals and other wildlife and my son still says it was the best part of the whole holiday. Thank you Coast boat trips for such a great boat trip which was fast and fun! We felt safe and absolutely no corners were cut at all which sadly you sometimes see when companies try and cram as many tourists in to one day as they can - that definitely wasn’t the case here. We look forward to returning to Cornwall and booking with you again next year!

What an amazing experience! The weather was not on our side but in my opinion that really added to the experience and enjoying the wildness of the sea. Josh and jack were phenomenal and such nice people, so that really contributed to the enjoyment of the trip. It makes an experience so much better when the people taking you on that trip have passion and joy about it too. I will 100% come back and aim for a more sunnier day when visibility is better.

Wow!!!! It was so good we couldn't stop talking about it on the way home! Despite wildlife being fickle, we got to see (very playful) dolphins, seals and lots of sea birds. Josh and Jack were very knowledgeable, both about the area and the animals, lots of interesting facts! And the actual boat ride was such a thrill! Such a unique perspective on the coastline and amazing views. Definitely, definitely recommend 1000% DO IT!

What an absolutely amazing trip! From booking our trip online, right through to getting off the boat at the end of our excursion was excellent. Very easy to book your chosen trip online with good detail about what you can expect. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Beth & Jack. They were both very friendly and brilliant with the children there. They offered good advice and tips on what to wear (both in the email received on the day plus in person at the harbour), offering additional waterproof trousers and jackets if needed). Once on the boat we felt very safe in Jack's hands. Having Beth on board was a real treat with her knowledge of marine biology! A brilliant addition to the trip! We loved listening to the information she shared with us about the various wildlife we saw. We were so fortunate to see both seals and dolphins during our trip. Special memories were made tonight. Thank you Jack & Beth. We'll definitely be back on any future holiday's in Cornwall.

We really enjoyed our time on the boat, and managed to catch some beautiful sites. The ride, though choppy (due to the weather), was like an enjoyable rollercoaster on the sea! It was wonderful to be able to see dolphins in their nature catching fish and playing around. The crew in charge were sweet and very knowledgeable in their field. Overall it is a splendid activity that you should attend!! Thanks guys!

A wonderful trip, beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins or whales, but we saw lots of seals and birds. My only wish would be that there were a possibility to go out to sea more and more time to sit and look for things, but maybe this would have to be a longer trip? Or possibly one further into sea and less along the coast? All in all a really fab trip though and I would go again

What a great way to see the Cornish Coast! Booked on the Penzance to Hayle trip. From start to finish the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Friendly, professional ,and knowledgeable .Captain Jack even had a Marine Biologist on board to give a running commentary on what we were seeing.....including a 4metre Bottle nose dolphin! The R.I.B was powerful and smooth and wet weather gear was provided to all passengers. This is how a family business should be and it deserves to do well .Go on ,book a trip. You wont regret it!

A brilliant 2-hour RHIB ride around the coast from Penzance to Longships Lighthouse and back again. Jack & Josh are a great double-act, combining excellent boat handling skills with extensive knowledge of the coast and the marine environment. We were lucky enough to see grey seals, porpoises and dolphins, along with a range of sea birds. A really enjoyable couple of hours - highly recommended!

Absolutely great experience with Coast Boat Trips! Everything from booking the trip, the contact prior to the day, travel advice etc was all great. The boat trip itself was fantastic, we did the 2.5hr Penzance to Hayle trip which took us all the way around the Lands End peninsula. Captain Jack and team were all very welcoming. They provided all the waterproof clothing to keep everyone warm and dry on the trip. Captain Jack and team are all very knowledgeable about Cornish history and wildlife and they are very keen to ensure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the trip. They made sure everyone was safe, dry and got to see some amazing sights as well as wonderful wildlife. We saw Grey Seals, Porpoises, Gannets, Shearwaters, Fulmars etc... unfortunately on the day that we went we didn't see any Whales or Tuna. All the more reason to book another trip in future! I would 100% recommend Coast Boat Trips to anyone wanting to see the Cornish coast and stunning wildlife! A passionate, professional team that clearly love what they do!

This is not your run-of-the-mill boat trip. The boat itself is similar to one of those used by the RNLI, so safety was never a concern here. The owner of the company is a determined and passionate man who is determined to make his business succeed. The trip showed me parts of Cornwall that you would never be able to see or appreciate unless you were in a boat. The nature of the trip means that it starts at one point and ends at another. It is incredibly easy to catch the train back to Penzance. Having a pasty at the end and a coffee finished the day in style. The boat trip itself was just an adrenaline filled experience from beginning to end with scenery and wildlife second to none. I felt very safe despite the waves, spray and excitement. We were provided with dry water proof gear and a life jacket. I could not recommend this trip highly enough.

This is an awesome and must have experience when you are in cornwall. We had a lot of fun eventhough the weather wasn't so supportive. Apart from scenic beauty, views and wild life this ride give you an experiance like a rollar coster. Scary , thrilled but highly enjoyable. These guys are very good and they make every effort to make your ride memorable.

We thought we'd add a boat trip to our holiday in Cornwall and after looking at various options, we decided that Coast Boat Trips were the best and most likely to see what we wanted. We didn't want something too long as we had never been on a boat before, we wanted to see wildlife, lighthouses and the hidden coastlines and coves and we didn't want something too rough as it was for myself, and my 2 young children aged 4 and 11. I was worried about how I'd keep them safe if it was fast and rough, as I'm a single mum and thought I only have 2 hands, how could I hold them in and myself? Coast Boat Trips thankfully had a range of trip options to suit anyone's interest and needs. The staff were absolutely fantastic and really went above and beyond at every step of the way. They made us feel so safe, provided plenty of waterproof clothing for all of us, explained exactly what to expect, recommended that the groups with small children sit towards the back of the boat, and they were incredibly knowledgeable about everything. We learnt about the history of the area, every animal we encountered, they filled us with facts, and gave us photo opportunities, they showed us beautiful beaches and how to reach them, the history of the lighthouse and even taught us about the lichen on the cliff faces. It was a fascinating and very impressive tour. As it was our first time in a boat, I had taken an anti sickness tablet before the tour, as recommended by them if you think you may suffer from seasickness. I get travel sick, so I suspected that I might and didn't want to ruin the trip. But actually I loved it and only felt slight motion sickness when we stopped, which could be quickly alleviated by looking at the horizon or into the sky away from the choppy sea. It was the 26th of July and unfortunately a drizzly day, but the sea spray was wonderfully refreshing, the extra clothing they provided kept us warm and dry, the views were spectacular, the captain made the whole experience absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to go again. We felt completely safe throughout, no need to hold on to my children for dear life as I had worried, and even when we did pick up speed, it was amazing and so much fun! We truly loved it! I can't recommend them enough!

Had a wonderful 2 hour boat trip, very knowledgeable guides. Saw a couple of dolphins and a few birds but the route along the coast line upto Lands end from Penzance was the main attraction.
