So good to have this place under new ownership, Penzance has been crying out for a killer coffee spot for ages, and this ticks all the boxes. Twinned with weekly changing sandwich menus (bread baked in house too) plus an awesome selection of sweet treats, also baked by Joel too, it’s truly amazing what can be churned out of such a small space.

Nice coffee and a friendly owner. Does coffee, sandwiches and cakes. Also open before 9am between Tuesday and Saturday which is unusual in Penzance

The coffee was fine but not as delicious as I've read in some comments. However, the Jamon & Alioli focaccia sandwich was from another world. Possibly the best I've tasted.

Best coffee, sandwiches, and cakes in town! The 'Table Beer' (nice hoppy, relatively low ABV pale ale) by The Kernel brewery in London is ace too! Looks like a great range of natural wines, but I haven't tried (yet). Outside seating only, but it's nice to sit out in the sun or just pick stuff up to take away if/when passing.

Excellent coffee, the most delicious sandwiches (both the toasted cheese and the focaccia one). The focaccia is baked on site daily and the filling for the sandwiches changes according to what is available locally. The Victoria sponge (large portion) finished off our visit nicely. We intend to go again … and again.

Incredible cakes and cookies. Honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Perfect place to grab treats and a coffee in Penzance.

Popped in here after a long walk from porthleven as the reviews claimed this was the best coffee in penzance. I can confirm it most certainly is! Also the cookies are to die for Highly recommended!!!

Discovered Roundhouse at the weekend. It’s the sort of place you swing by for a coffee, end up stopping for a chat and a sandwich, and leaving with a pastry and a bottle of wine. Looking forward to staying for a glass next weekend & thank you for answering my wine questions Joel!

Wonderful cafe airy fantastic coffee and amazing fresh n local daily baked goods. We sampled a large part of the menu the focaccia sandwiches - canelle and a cookie. All delicious and with a wonderful view and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Easily the best coffee experience in town. With a plus of delicious toasted sandwiches made from hand-made sourdough and local cheeses. Plenty of choice for sweet things such as granita.

Best lunch in Cornwall - we shared an amazing sandwich (on homemade focaccia!) and a dessert or three plus coffee. The portions were really generous and everything is made fresh, we need more places like this!!! P.S. thanks for the baking tips!
