Great bookshop that hasn’t totally lost its neighbourhood feel with downstairs room/salon to read. Very busy on weekends but on weekday afternoons, this is all you need in life. Serenity and books.

Great selection of books and I also had two great service experiences. I bought a book that was slightly marked and they happily ordered in a new one to swap. When I noticed a small difference with the replacement book the staff went out of her way to correct it when other stores might have said just accept it. I highly recommend this store.

A great selection of books on different topics. Ground and basement level so it is a mid size book shop. There are children's book sections, stationery, presents, board games and cards. Most of the other book sections are in the basement level. No elevator or other way to get there if you can't use the stairs though. Or at least I didn't see one... The staff are friendly, helpful and very polite! We visit regularly 😊📚

Our local “around the corner” bookshop. Helpful staff and always a interesting selection of books on display.

First time visiting this particular branch ( I naturally had high expectations due to the service and selection in the white city branch) and I was extremely satisfied with both the selection of books and service from the staff. I went in unsure of what I wanted to purchase and the lovely member of staff approached me and recommended several books which she thought I would like. I ended up going for two suggested and having started one already I'm really pleased with her recommendation. Super friendly staff and a real massive store with a downstairs too. In a lovely part of London, I'll definitely return as it's well worth a visit.

Very rude. Askef if they had a particular book (new release) just said they hadn't seen it. Didn't want to check or look it up. I felt like I was putting them out. I won't be going back

Pretty good bookshop, the best on kings road. Service is great too. In most towns this would be a 5 star bookstore but in London there is a lot of completion. When comparing to the likes of Waterstones Piccadilly or Foyles on Charring Cross road, this is 4 stars. The others are much larger and offer more selection across more floors. Nice curvy staircase in store which adds to the architectural interest of the space. Window display are always really nice to walk past and ponder the new titles.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I've been coming to this place for about 2 years and always had amazing experience. Appreciate the long opening hours.

Understaffed, there are long queues to pay and not enough staff to assist when searching for books. I had to leave and order from amazon instead because of the queues.

Great book shop but handed back my books and cards today as we can only use the Blue light card on line. This must be a new thing so anyone with a Blue light card order online only such a shame.
