So many lovely donkeys! Dog friendly (on leads) and you can buy a bucket of carrots to feed the donkeys. Parking was free in a field on site, the place is fairly flat and not too far to walk to get to see the donkeys up close. Worth a pop in if you are passing by.

The sanctuary is AMAZING! Β£1 donation plus Β£1 for every bucket of carrots you buy. The little cafe has great food and the donkeys are just lovely! They all have their own funny personalities and ways of getting you to part with carrots! If you are on holiday in the area, the donkey sanctuary should be at the top of your things to do list!!! We went twice!!!

We love this place, such beautiful donkeys, you can buy carrots, and feed them. Lovely place to buy food and drinks, nice sitting area, outside, great shop to buy gifts. Such a worthy charity. Everyone should visit.

Lots of lovely donkeys to see that have all been rescued. Fantastic for children. Pay Β£1 for small bucket of carrots to feed the animals. Can also make a donation to fund their large running costs. Cafe on site but no picnics allowed.

Great place where you csn feed the donkey's. Cafe available although we didn't try it. Toilets on site and only a donation to visit. Extra to pay for the feed of course as it is a charity. Lovely donkey's 😍

Have taken all family members and friends that have come to visit us in Chapel and we have enjoyed it every time. It's a great family day outing and gives us the chance to help with the upkeep of these wonderful Donkeys. Grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends children alike thoroughly enjoy themselves, including the big ones πŸ˜…

Lovely rescue centre for Donkeys, a book has been written about Alan, who is still here my 1st picture who has learnt to tap the gate for more carrots. No carrots on our visit which was disappointing but Donkeys happy to receive a fuss all the same. Good snack bar very reasonable prices, little shop to raise funds but although pocket money prices could do with some better quality goods to encourage adults to spend too. Not open every day so check opening times before eating out.

I have taken my grandchildren here to see and feed the donkeys on many occasions. The children absolutely love it. The carrots are Β£1.00 a bucket. The sanctuary pay for everything themselves, there is no cash given from anywhere apart from visitors. They rescue the donkeys. Tea , coffee and cake is available to buy. Dig deep , this is an amazing sanctuary.

We couldn't believe how busy this little place was! For a very small entry fee and a reasonably priced bucket of carrots you can enjoy the company of a plethora of donkeys. They all had personality and seemed well loved and cared for. The staff are kind and hardworking to accommodate the crowds which flock to the sanctuary. The food is inexpensive and good. It is only open 2 days a week and we went twice in holiday πŸ˜†. We 'adopted' 2 donkeys but would have adopted more if we had deeper pockets. Great morning activity!

My family and I love it here. We return everytime we are up on holiday near Mablethorpe. It is lovely to see all the donkeys are healthy and well looked after. I think the carrots in buckets is a great idea and a perfect size for the kids to feed the donkeys. The cafe is very nice and the food is nice too. The toilets are kept clean and plenty of parking .

I've been here twice now and both times it's been good. My son enjoyed feeding the donkeys too. The one thing I didn't like was the man that you pay to get the carrots from was smoking infront of kids.

Oh wow, this was so much fun! Beautiful, well looked after donkeys, all trying to catch your eye to part with your carrots πŸ₯•!! Β£1 minimum entry donation and Β£1 per bucket of carrots. It’s a truly fantastic place and sanctuary for the donkeys to enjoy the good life they deserve. We enjoyed a drink in the sunshine looking over the donkey fields. It’s a must visit if you are visiting the area. Be prepared to fall in love with these little cuties. Knowledgeable and super friendly staff. We adopted little Sweetheart whilst we were here after reading about her story and witnessing her carrot convincing techniques!! We will be back to visit… many times!
