I live around 10 minute drive away and it's a shame I haven't visited sooner. I was meant to but plans got cancelled. But last night was the night I was sure to go. I love craft beer and things beer related. I was met with a rustic looking bar with a calming and chill atmosphere. The bar lady was down to earth and also got talking to the owner. This is a little gem of a place that will fast become my new local. I got talking to a local through the love of beer. The beer itself has a great selection at reasonable prices. You wouldn't expect to have a place like this in kingswood but I'm glad it's there.

Quite literally the only decent place to have a drink in Kingswood. The only place I'll take my London friends when they visit. Great selection of independent beers and a couple of ciders. I'd love a small but adventurous cocktail menu too...

The excellent beer and friendly service far outweigh the fact it's "card only".

Finally a friendly, independent and cosy little place in Kingswood where conversation, quality and community triumph over the bland offerings of chain establishments. I, for one rarely carry or pay with cash unless forced to and value the convenience of a quick boop on a card terminal.

Just moved to the area and it’s such a blessing having this place on the doorstep. Everyone dead friendly, great drinks and super dog friendly. Plus boardgames and some events now and then.. what’s not to love!

Excellent choices and ever changing. Very dog friendly, and I'm pretty sure the dog takes us there purposefully now! Not that we mind.

Nice little micro pub with a good range of ales and pleasant interior. Chanced upon it after a session at the nearby Riddlr escape rooms - a happy surprise!

Lyons den is my favourite place to drink in kingswood. I enjoy the art and beer, and the staff are friendly. Welcoming to families and dogs (and whatever other pets you might want to bring but I've personally only seen dogs). I'm loathe to write a positive review as it may popularise it further and I'd rather have a seat to sit in 😂

Lovely little place with an ever-changing selection of great local beers. A selection of board games too! I couldn't ask for a better local. 🙂

The lowdown: Great little Gem in kingswood which I'm proud to call my local. Friendly staff, an amazing range of beers each time you arrive. dog friendly which is a plus. Only drawback is if it's busy you may have to squeeze in a spot and it doesn't open late. Otherwise if you are in the area don't go anywhere else.

Really good atmosphere, music not too loud so you can have a chat, loads of boardgames and really nice beer. They also have a couple ciders in case someone doesn't like beer. Very friendly staff too.
