Nice café, especially if you sit outside. Friendly staff. Small breakfast very good, perfectly adequate. The filter coffee included is good. Ask for wholemeal bread, because I got white by default.

We stayed in a lodge last weekend and had an excellent 3 days/nights fishing and chilling. Plenty of fish caught finally landing a double on last evening. Cafe does a cracking breakfast. Lodges clean and really good size. Will be back next year.

We are not into fishing but we are sure if you are and have a caravan this would tick the box. Just had 5 nights on this CL part of Rookery Waters as we wanted to visit Cambridge. We was put on the Willow pitch and had water in and out, perfick as well as looking over one of the fishing lakes👍 and this site has a lovely cafe serving a lovely cooked and presented Breakfast. At £26 a night Fab thanks Rookery Waters 👏👏👏👏👌

Fished here today…had to buy new landing net as struggling to fit the fish in !!! Absolutely first class establishment Superb in every way Clean and tidy swims Toilet block was clean aswell Helpful friendly shop with advice from superb people Café is spot on and great value Fished Rook lake and loved it Had a look around the other lakes and can’t wait to return An absolute gem of a fishery 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

How do I write this, I bought the break for my husband for a Xmas present. At the time he had kidney failure. 6 weeks ago he unbelievably had a kidney pancreas transplant but it hasn't gone to plan and is still very poorly. This place has healed his mind, he has spent the weekend lying on the sofa but looking through the window at the lake and watching people fish has taken his mind off what is currently going on and he is making plans to come back. This has given him focus.
