Elliot and the team have done a fantastic job on the pond, it is a great addition to our garden and the fish have settled in well! Very polite and professional service and gave really good advice prior and after the build. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of wanting a pond!

Essex Aquatics were easy to book via email for a cleaning of our small pond, which had been left very dirty by the previous homeowners and which was overrun with vegetation (see image). Elliot arrived on time and did a thorough job, fixed some nicks in the lining, and gave us good advice about long-term maintenance. The pond is now looking very clear, much freer, and we can actually see the goldfish (see before vs after pics)!

One of the best things about this team is how communicative they all are: nothing is too much trouble and they are polite, and happy to answer all queries. The standard of work is high and represents good value for money. Also they are a pleasure to have around. They are tidy and keep the noise down and they are good fun. Elliot who leads the team is particularly professional and knows what he is talking about when it comes to Aquatics.

An excellent job was done. In just one day working alone Elliot drained down our medium sized kidney shaped pond, removed all the edging flagstones. He then replaced the old leaking liner and re-cemented the flags back into the original critical positions. He reduced the plant content from massively over grown to give a good balance. He even managed to rescue members of my resident newt population and reintroduced them at the end. All in all an excellent days work. I have no reservation in recommending Essex Aquatics to anyone needing pond maintenance. My only negative is that I had to wait a while for the appointment, judging by the quality of the work I am not now surprised. It was worth the wait!

Elliot has worked on our pond twice, once for a total clean and more recently for a repair to the lining. We have been delighted with his work on both occasions, he is prompt to respond to our requests and he is tidy and very efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Having suffered a big black hole in our garden for several years after our old pond liner was damaged. We met with Elliot who made suggestions for the renewal and putting right all of the mistakes we had made on the original pond. Elliot worked for three days (on his own) and transformed the ugly black hole into a beautiful natural pond which had its first inhabitants within an hour of him leaving. He has surrounded it with holders of various sizes perfect for the various wildlife to access the water and planted with various plants which will give colour and shelter but can be controlled easily. An exceptional result from this very hard working and charming man.

It was a scorching hot day, and our pond was very overdue for a clean. Elliott arrived on time, worked like mad, and left the pond in a lovely clear condition. Not only that, but he sorted out some long standing issues with the equipment. He left the site clean and tidy. I can definitely recommend this company.
