Went here yesterday with my dad and boyfriend, we were all pretty blown away at the amount of stuff they have. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful when he got asked any questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly people. My dad and Boyfriend had a lot of nostalgic moments here, we'll definitely be back. I'm going to Invade for retro Wonder Woman comics next time. Great place to come if you're interested in comics, graphic novels, annuals, tabletop games or anything retro/pop culture. They have a big selection of old and new with a diverse range that's sure to include something for everyone. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, which gives the place a relaxed atmosphere and you can sit and enjoy a hot drink and a tasty treat in their cosy diner style café. They also have an arcade gaming room with several cabinets hosting a large selection of retro arcade classics. You simply pay for a timed session, all the games are then freely available to play (no need to keep spending more money after a game-over) A great place to spend a couple of hours and suitable for all the family. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

A great shop for anyone who loves or has a passing interest in comics and other hobby items such as Warhammer figures. A wide variety of comics at a very good price. The staff are fantastic and always very nice and friendly and happy to help. Can't wait to be able to go back asap, sometimes I'll go multiple times a day.

A brilliant friendly place for kids or adults into back copies of beano or dandy and many other classic comics. Has retro games ans a cafe and even does parties for kids

The perfect place for geeks to have a cuppa. Books, mags and models to delight the inner nerd. And great coffee and cakes in an "American Diner" ambience. 2023 Edit: the café is currently closed.

KATE, Glenn and the team are always welcoming! They have the best puddings and drinks in their cafe and it's a place to get a great gift! For me, I get my comics from here and the guys are always willing to go find a comic they haven't got on the shop floor. Glenn personally showed me all their games rooms which are ready for parties and keen gamers. Go take a look!

Purchased 15 Marvel comic books from here today and received a further 3 free from the guys. Very welcoming and great variety of comics books etc. Could have easily spent hours inside browsing and chatting to the guys.. both are really friendly and nice and chatty... Great comic book store with a variety of collectible items available. There isn't another store like this one anywhere local. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Cool café also inside!
