Oswestry is so lucky to have this warm, friendly and truly independent cinema. Showing films from sub-titled art house, through NT live to blockbusters and children's films. You get all this in a comfortable, Covid safe environment that also sells good quality wine and local beers, all at very reasonable prices! Ruth and Ian are genuinely interested in, and knowledgeable about the films they show.

What a charming cinema! Well presented space, comfortable well spaced out seats, a nice little bar/snacks booth with a good range of produce (some healthier options too). Very respectable quality of projection and sound for an independent cinema: absolutely nothing to complain about in that department. Proper 2K digital projector and 7.1 Dolby sound facilities. Very friendly staff, and a nice local community feel with lots of regulars (but also a few walk-up first timers). Despite being a large room the temperature was comfortable, and the acoustic was fine. No distracting light leaks in the peripheral. Interesting programme too - a mix of general release, and indies... as wells as live broadcasts of theatre, opera, and ballet. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed out first visit here!! Disclaimer: the proprietor is my aunt, but this hasn't biased my review at all... above are my genuine first impressions!

A cosy local cinema venue. Friendly and comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Go if you can. Much better than having to drive miles.

A lovely, well-run little cinema. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening watching the musical Heathers. Definitely worth another visit...

What a lovely small cinema. Love the two seater seats on the back row! If you've not been give it a go.

I love this place - especially with the extra leg space that removing seats for Covid precautions has created. It's quirky, cosy, great refreshments bar with hot drinks in proper ceramic cups and tickets/refreshments at good prices.

Lovely little art house cinema in Oswestry. The sofas at the back are a great place to watch a film :-)

Tuesday film club. Great idea. Films that are good but may not have made the main cinema circuits. Comfortable seats, well spaced out, and a reasonably priced bar! No £5 soft drink here!

Great to use a local cinema. We enjoyed the film, cinema was full. It was rather cold, next time I would wrap up warmer. Dud mot know much about the cinema, maybe some more marketing needed.

A great place, fantastic for the community but PLEASE wipe all the surfaces down, remove the stickiness from the shelves by the sofas

What a find!!! Possibly the best cinema experience ever. So cosy, but still loads of space for stretching out and enjoying the movie. Absolutely lovely people and a cheeky pint with the lunch time movie was an absolute win.

Great little " independent " cinema, run by an ever warm and welcoming team of volunteers, and showing a first class selection of films.
