Wheelers is a Loughborough institution and will be a store that I have always loved spending time in, it’s impossible not to rate this store highly hence the 5 stars, however - I visited recently and things have changed dramatically. The staff who are absolutely lovely tell you the moment you walk in there is more variety online and that the boxes you are walking around are due to deliveries coming in / orders going out. They ask are you fine to browse. All good customer service - I’m not questioning that at all. The problem is that telling customers about your online presence sets them on edge - they have made an effort to come in person to look at the amazing items on sale but it doesn’t feel like Wheelers anymore. I felt uncomfortable walking around what felt more like a back office to a thriving empire. I’m thrilled the business is booming online but they seem to have forgotten the locals who have been coming for years, long before the website! I used to come here with my grandparents and we would be there for ages, always made a purchase and always used their coffee shop upstairs. I get it - times move on and of course with covid they had to move online to stay afloat. I get it and I’m glad the business has survived where other retailers haven’t been able to. I just felt compelled to let you know that the shop just doesn’t feel welcoming anymore, if I wanted to buy stuff online I would - but I like to visit shops sometimes too especially local independent ones. I don’t imagine the shop will continue as it is as it’s used more for an office / distribution hub but thanks for the years of pleasant browsing and customer service please don’t forget the local community who helped you to become what you are today!

Always good service & when they say they'll get back to you once an item comes in they do. Friendly proffesional service and I discuss any Montblanc questions I have with Wheelers rather than Montblanc as I actually get an answer from Wheelers! Being able to order the old fashioned way over the phone is an extra bonus in this day & age of on line hacking.

Quality store that cares about what they're doing. I purchased a vintage Dom Perignon with customised engraving for my wedding from their website. From the first call to the last call they were a breeze to deal with. Great and easy communication. Quick shipping with the engraving. Ordered at 1300 hours (1 PM) and was shipped out the next morning. Excellent follow-ups as they promised. Prices are extremely reasonable and in line with market dynamics. I will be purchasing from this company again and when in the area look forward to paying them a visit.

We have just ordered a Montblanc pen from this fantastic shop for my son. Wouldn't use again purely on based on thier courier service, the item I ordered had tracked delivery on it yet the tracking wasn't updated for 3 days! Even though it was on tracked 48 delivery! I waited in 3 days on the run, there was no update or even any contact to tell me they just wasn't bothering to deliver it and then on the day I couldn't wait any longer and had to go out they decided to deliver it when they could be bothered, some delivery driver walked up to the door, knocked once and then walked off (I have CCTV), no delivery card was left and when you look at their site to see what to do next when they have attempted delivery it says refer to delivery card left! DHL 's reviews has a 92% 1 star rating on truspilot. I seriously suggest you ditch your courier company and go with a reliable one if you don't want future reviews like this. To be fair wheelers did contact DHL on a couple of occasions when my parcel never turned up and I had to contact them and I am happy with the product I received, your delivery service is just very bad.

Over the past few years I have bought Montblanc ink from Wheelers. Their prices are really competitive and the service is excellent. Ordered items late Friday afternoon and they were delivered Monday. Give them a try rather than using the obvious internet giant of retail.

Nice products at a great price. My item was sent to me well-packaged and quickly, in a perfect condition despite the postal strikes and Christmas holidays. I will definitely purchase from them again.
