Mr Modi is a personable, practiced, professional who gained my trust. The first few minutes of our initial meeting were enough. How so? I’ve been on the receiving end of many years’ detailed eye examinations at opticians and hospitals. Then Mr Modi’s mere application of eye drops happened. That was done at a speed and with a precision and lightness of touch I’ve never experienced before. With a start like that, you can guess the rest... Frimley Hospital is not very local for me, this was my first visit. My appointment was on time and Mr Modi was welcoming, professional, informative and could not be more helpful, showing me pictures that put my mind at rest. I left my appointment having had a very positive consultation.

Mr Modi recently removed a cataract from my eye and fitted a toric lens . This not only improved my sight but also my astigmatism so I no longer need to wear glasses.The process was painless and I felt very supported by Mr Modi throughout. Neil Modi performed bilateral cataract surgery on my husband Roger Smith on 28th December 2022 and he now feels as if he has been given a new lease of life. I underwent a biopsy and subsequent Basel cell carcinoma surgery in April 2022 on the inside edge of my left eye socket. I returned in October 2022 to have the area reconstructed. Each procedure was undertaken with local anaesthetic such was the confidence I had in Mr. Modi. He was informative, caring and understanding. He never rushed any of my appointments he was clear with the details of what was happening and I am very happy with the outcome.

I saw Mr. Modi recently at Frimley Park Hospital and, as my eye problem had improved with the drops he had suggested I used, we decided no further treatment as needed at this time. There was no pressure at all to continue with the minor procedure which had been booked for the following day! Mr. Modi was professional, friendly and very mindful of the patient's (my!) choices. I will certainly go back if I need to have further consultation.

Mr Modi performed surgery to remove a small tumor from my eyelid which I was not looking forward to. He was extremely reassuring, calming and informative and put me totally at ease. The surgery was a success and I am very pleased with the result and his aftercare.

I was referred to Neil Modi by my Optician with the possibility of having both Cataracts removed on the same day and on my first meeting felt totally confident that I was in safe hands! No question I asked was too much trouble to answer the whole operation was explained in detail.
