Really nice staff and a great selection of pets, equipment and loads of knowledge. We spent a good amount of time today asking some final questions after lots of research and came away very happy with a beautiful cornsnake. Would highly recommend to others. Thank you George and team

Chanced upon Surrey Reptile Centre after researching online. George greeted us as soon as we entered the shop and we mooched around before heading straight back to the tortoises. We fell in love with a lively little fella straight away! The shop was quite busy and so George called for a colleague to come and help us who had been working in the warehouse. We were given so much invaluable information and guidance. We chose and handled our dwarf Hermann tortoise so staff were sure we were confident and they too encouraged us to ask lots of questions. All the staff we met were supper friendly and helpful and we will definitely return for tort supplies. Great to have the farmshop next door too so we could pick up some fresh food (we were worried the supermarkets would be closed and had the table to set up so foraging was out of the question). Thank you so so much. 🐢

What a great place to go and either visit , get advice or buy your pet from. We went to board my reptiles for August and the whole process was easy and comfortable. We then went back to seek a beardy for my mother in law and George went above and beyond to make sure the whole process went smoothly. He is super knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my pets , board them or even if it's just to buy bedding etc. Nice to finally find somewhere , where everyone cares and looks after there animals and knows there stuff to . Without question the best pet centre in the region. The owner, George, is a wealth of knowledge and so generous with his time and help. We purchase all our supplies here and they have recently helped us to set up a vivarium and purchase a crested gecko. They are always available for advice and aftercare assistance. We will not go anywhere else.

I came across the Surrey Reptile centre after being let down by an online retailer in advance of my son’s Birthday. Not sure what to expect, I drove directly to the centre in desperation to see their stock of vivariums. They had everything I needed, from colour choice, accessories, supplies, all in stock and ready to take away. I was introduced to George, who keeps his own Beardies in store and was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He gave me great advice and built the enclosure complete with heat lamp ready to plug in while I waited so I could take it away to wrap for my son’s Birthday the next day. He also offered a handling session with my son on the weekend so he could choose his own Beardy, showing us how to hold and feed him. I have no hesitation in recommending George and his team if you are thinking of getting a reptile for the first time. 5 stars! So impressed, head and shoulders above the larger pet retailers! Thank you so much for saving my son’s Birthday!!

We have just returned after a visit to Surrey Reptile Centre. I cannot recommend this place enough. George is so knowledgeable and took time to answer all our questions. All the staff were friendly and professional with animal welfare clearly at the heart of their Reptile centre. A brilliant find, we will be back!

Amazing place. Their snake and reptile collection is really good, so many on display. George is really knowledgeable. Worth making an appointment for anything snake related so that he can show you the snakes taking them outside the display cases.

Such good service! I went in for the first time months ago looking for bulbs for my BTS and they had everything that I needed. This week I went and purchased an Orchid Mantis from the store who assisted me from start to finish. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and it is definitely going to be my new go to place, even with a 35 min drive its 100% worth it!! Also had an awesome selection of bugs including curly winged flies, roaches, locusts, worms. etc. whereas other stores have only usually had the basic locusts and crickets.

amazing service yesterday, lovely staff. the turtle expert we some to was very enthusiastic and informative which was very comforting as we are new to reptiles. would definitely recommend visiting for advice and equipment

The absolute best place to go for insect pets!! I don't have any reptiles or amphibians myself, but all the animals they have seem really happy and you could tell they're really well looked after and loved :) George in particular is amazing, he was a HUGE help getting me set up with my first tarantula; he knows so much about everything!! 100/10, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else :)

Lots of reptiles and equipment. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Will be going back even though its quite a distance for us. Shop is tucked behind garden centre so easy to miss. I would recommend. Brought our Afican Fat Tail here and have been happy with her from day one.

Honestly cannot say more than this is some of the best service I received from a shop in general. Can’t remember the persons name but they had tattoos (possibly Maddy) and they gave fantastic advice about a bio active set up for my python. Will be making the trip again soon

Me and my boyfriend are bearded dragon lovers and we currently have a 10 month old beardie. We absolutely love ours, we have always wanted a zero bearded dragon too! We were doing some research and looking around as to what shops had them. We emailed Surrey Reptile Centre and had a response from Madi that they had 5! We called up and arranged to meet Madi there that afternoon. Madi greeted us straight away and was so patient and attentive whilst we were trying to find the right addition to the family. She was extremely informative, so lovely and kind and really made our experience so enjoyable. She priced different options up for us within minutes and we left with our gorgeous little 3 month old baby zero who we’ve renamed Loki! I have never been anywhere with such amazing customer service. Madi is probably the happiest person I’ve ever seen! When we got to the till everyone within the store had a chat with us about our new addition and even offered to help us carry everything to the car (even though the store closed 10 minutes before but we were a bit indecisive!) I cannot fault Surrey reptile centre the team are absolutely brilliant and you can tell they are passionate and really care about all the animals within the store! I will be going here from now on for all of my reptile needs. 10/10 guys! Thank you to everyone at Surrey Reptile Centre!We will definitely be seeing you again soon!
