Visited
this
store
this
afternoon,
June
13,
2016
with
my
husband.
We
have
used
this
store
for
quite
some
time
but
had
never
before
encountered
the
male
who
was
behind
the
counter
today.
An
older
person
in
his
60's,
wears
glasses.
We
wanted
to
drop
off
some
parcels
for
Hermes,
as
we
have
done
on
numerous
occasions
before
at
this
store.
We
had
offered
to
take
a
couple
of
parcels
for
a
neighbour
as
it
was
raining.
We
did
our
parcel
and
then
put
the
others
on
the
counter.
Clearly
he
was
annoyed
and
said,
'I
didn't
know
you
had
more
than
one'.
I
told
him
these
were
for
someone
else
and
to
our
utter
amazement
he
flatly
refused
to
scan
them.
'I
am
not
doing
those
separately,
I
haven't
got
the
time'.
We
had
paid
for
the
parcels
to
be
delivered
and
had
our
neighbour
taken
them
herself
they
would
have
had
to
have
been
scanned
separately.
I
was
quite
taken
aback
at
the
very
rude
and
unnecessary
way
this
person
dealt
with
us.
I
take
it
he
is
the
owner
of
the
shop
as
he
told
us
he
'did
not
care'
if
we
contacted
Hermes
to
tell
them
of
his
refusal
to
take
the
prepaid
parcels.
'I
am
an
agent,
it
doesn't
matter
to
me'
What
a
negative,
rude
and
unpleasant
way
to
deal
with
customers.
I
thought
the
idea,
especially
these
days,
was
to
encourage
folks
in
to
your
store
-
not
drive
them
away.
We
took
the
parcels
to
One-Stop
in
Bench
Road,
Buxton
and
turned
the
negative
in
to
a
positive.
The
girls
in
there
were
lovely
and
only
too
happy
to
give
us
separate
receipts.
We
did
not
mention
the
earlier
experience
at
all
so
their
willingness
to
give
us
separate
receipts
was
their
normal
reactions.
What
a
contrast.
Why
did
he
treat
us
like
that?
Who
knows?
What
he
has
done
is
to
ensure
that
he
has
lost
two
fairly
regular
customers
and
got
himself
some
very
adverse
publicity
as
we
would
not
recommend
using
this
shop.
There
was
utterly
no
need
for
how
he
dealt
with
this
today.
I
have
to
press
one
star
to
actually
post
this
review.
I
would
rather
not
have
to
do
even
that.
