I bought a fish tank for my daughter and needed to get some fish. All the fish are amazing. The old pet shop I used wasn't really that good as I'd have the fish a week then they would die but all the fish we have bought here are doing well. The staff are amazing and happy to help if they can. My 2 year old loves coming to the shop too to have a look at all the fish and reptiles.

Amazing place. Me and my daughter love getting our supplies from there. Staff are great aswell. Been there again today to stock up on crickets. Always helpful always cheerful.

I usually visit this shop for the aquatic side of things but every time I go there I find myself going into every room, all the tanks and enclosures are spotless and the staff are very knowledgeable.

Went with my partner as he's is not afraid of anything as well as being a big fan of bearded dragons all staff very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble and the shop and pets are kept clean and tidy would recommend to others 👌

Been & bought my daughter an axolotl today, was a lovely shop. All animals & fish looked happy & healthy and the staff were second to none, very helpful and informative. Will definitely be returning for our axolotl supplies.

Cannot express how friendly the staff is. Family run business and they've done so well for themselves. Bought my little guy stewie 2 years ago from here and always buying pet food. Eveything is reliable and cannot go wrong with these. Would definitely recommend.

What a refreshing change from the monopoly pet shop that seems to have consumed this market. I visited with my dog who was allowed in and welcome. The staff were helpful and friendly. Well stocked. Also with items I have not seen in a pet shop for eons. Dog certainly impressed with the natural items available. If you live within travelling distance - try here instead of the monopoly VIP stores.

What a great experience dealing with Dearne Valley Pet Centre. Very helpful and gave great practical advice in relation to a fish related issue. Couldn’t have been more impressed. Horrible place, as I was getting fish I asked repeatedly if the fish was an aggressive species ignored countless times so I figured that they weren't woken up this morning with 7 dead fish cause by the two I'd bought!

Walked in and back out within seconds, asked where the cold water fish were and was shown 3 small tanks 2 of the tanks had really small fish in and the other had some bigger fish in, I was told the 3rd tank wasn't for sale and the guy just walked off, so we we did the same and walked off straight out of the door....

What a little treasure this place is. The 2 staff members we met were both lovely. The guy in the shop was very clued up and knew exactly how to help us with our fish tank enquiries. The fish he has in stock are absolutely beautiful!! Far better kept than your regular pets at home or Jollies, and the range he has available are amazing!!! Never seen some of the fish he had ever. Was informed the shop is moving site soon which I will 100% be using and will be highly recommending!!
