    Best lake in az behind Powell! Easy to get to lots of parking. Big boat ramp. Nobody on the lake Monday thru Thursday! Bathrooms halfway down the lake. Party beach needs a weed whacker. Nature's taken over.

    I launch by myself. So by yourself you have to mind the wind coming from the east especially. Fishing has been slow but maybe I'm not holding my mouth right!

    It is a beautiful place in the middle of the desert. The crystalline lake contrasts with the hills and the sparse vegetation. There is an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Beautiful.
