Overall a good store. Sometimes understaffed at the checkout and there doesn't seem to be any restocking on the weekends. The produce is generally okay but there are old vegetables at times that should have been tossed. The meat is usually above average.

Usually a great experience. Not a fan of the remodel at all, it seems weird. Please add the ability to use Schnucks rewards at self checkout!

I go to this Schnucks a lot. Normally I'm able to have a pleasant shopping experience but I'm giving three stars today because of an experience I witnessed yesterday. As I was selecting fruit, I noticed a man at the cherry station. He was there so long it caught my attention. When I went to go select my cherries, he was going through each cherry bag and hand picking cherries out of each bag and placing them in a bag for himself. He wasn't wearing gloves and Covid numbers are going up. I was grossed out. When I went to the deli department, I called the clerk to the side and told her what I witnessed and suggested they have someone perhaps run fresh water over them or something. No action taken. I told a second worker who reacted the way I felt, but again no action. It was disappointing to say the least. Do not purchase fruit without washing it first! People are gross and inconsiderate.

If you aren't 18 yet and is thinking about becoming a bagger/cart pusher here, avoid it at all cost and go the fast food route. You'll soon realize you are physically working way too much while stockers are chilling around making more than you. The management will take advantage of you as a bagger as it's just the errand boy job

Well laid out, clean, and friendly grocery store. I needed some things for a business meeting (water, soda, ice). Found things easily and quickly and checkout was quick Really happy to find places like this still exist!!!

I love going to this schnucks even though its a little further than other schnucks. There's rarely a wait to check out and there was a very nice older gentleman stocking.

Large store with limited obstacles in the aisles. Need more checkers. Was there when a disabled vet purchased but then dropped a glass vase of flowers. They gave him another at no charge. They did the right thing for this man who risked his life for our freedom.

Love this location... Maybe if they're so concerned with ripping up the parking lot and doing new construction for online pickup parking spots, they could put a cart corral within 75 feet of a New and Expectant Mothers parking spot.

Pretty useless store in my opinion, after visits both in person and by means of Instacart, they have failed to have coffee, and even taco seasoning on several occasions. I will say I can't determine if the problem is with Instacart, the Inventory Management System, a communications issue, or they just suck. Based on the relevant facts and first hand observations I would say logistics, and a general lack of product variety that could allow shoppers more choices when there are shortages of items when there are multiple competing producers. I must be spoiled by H.E.B. which is very surprising that they would have this many logistics issues regarding simple items in the smack dab of the "breadbasket of America".

This is my neighborhood grocery store. One person that brightens my day whenever I see him is Joseph. He's moved up from pushing carts to now a cashier, he is a very kind young man that I've grown to adore.

Inconsistent hours for meat/deli. They’re different than what they have posted in store. Understaffed/Undertrained employees. Moldy corn and avocados on multiple occasions. Products not consistently stocked. Management has a total inability to affect change. They’re constrained by a corporate headquarters that simply doesn’t care about this location’s customers.

This store has polite employees. It is very clean orderly and well-maintained the parking is good it's not overcrowded and you have enough people working register so you're not stuck in a long line at the self-checkout

One of the smaller locations but still a great store. The cashier was friendly. Be careful with drivers on the parking lot. A lady almost hit me in the cross walk.

3 years ago I gave 5 stars to this location. I used to buy Fried chicken in wing bar here it was good.. but since the pandemic start there chicken is so dry! Hard like rock!!! Shelves are empty. No taste at all. Have they change anything here?

  • 5/5 TeleTubby 1 year ago on Google
I do most of my shopping here due to location. The shelves aren't always full and occasionally items seem to disappear for a while and then return. I won't take a star off for that because all the grocery stores (in my area, at least) suffer from these kinds of things. It's at the industry level, not a store thing. The deli and bakery always have what I need. I have found most all of the employees friendly and helpful and I will gladly continue to spend my dollars here.

Not sure whose idea it was to "re-design" this store. But none of the contents in the aisles make sense anymore. If I'm looking for tortilla chips...they should be in the CHIP aisle, not with the tortillas and other ethnic foods. Who can find the baked chips anymore, I don't know, they are probably lumped in with the "diet" food now. Want some cereal, oh yeah it's in the aisle with SPICES, because that makes sense. Say you need crackers? Check next to the beer. Seriously it was like a crackhead walked through and rearranged it all according to what the voices told him.

First of all, someone ripped my backup camera off in their parking lot while I was inside. Not sure why anyone would do this. Second, this entire store has an odor issue. It smells like rotten seafood and mold. Third, suddenly there’s this arbitrary rule only occasionally enforced about who can and cannot check themselves out in Express. If there is only one bedraggled cashier, no bagger, and a line, but eight available self checkout lanes, why would the customer service person tell me I have to go to a normal lane and stand in line?! And I understand you’re stocking and moving the merchandise around everyday, but if you see a customer trying to shop, move out of the way, since customers are the reason you even have merchandise to sell at all.

Good customer service, but I got a quiche from the bakery and it was rancid. My husband and I are quiche lovers, but we took one bite and gagged. I don’t know if they used expired flour, oil or eggs, but it was really bad. Even the crust was awful.

This store smells so bad as soon as you walk in and throughout the store. The smell is so overwhelming. It smells dirty and like nasty sea food. I don’t know any other way to describe it. The store just stinks. It’s not like other Schnucks locations that I have gone to. I only went to the one on Dorsett Rd because it was close to work. I got nauseous just walking through. I most likely won’t be back.

I wrote a review 3 months ago due to being accused of not paying for an item. Didn't even get an apology. Theres a polite way of asking a customer to make sure that an item scanned. Promised to never go back to this store unless I was desperate. Well, today I was desperate and I give another 1 star review. My card wouldn't read and when I pressed the button for assistance I had to wait. They literally just stand there and ignore you, walk past you and act like you're interrupting them. Then I'm told to call my bank because my card was declined. I try using another card. Still not working. Go to another register and my card works just fine. Why couldn't you help??? I had to scan everything all over again. Should've just left it there and walked out the door. Continual horrible customer service!
