One of the better meals I've ever had. Food was ridiculously fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and beautiful. I've never had this sort of food before so I didn't know what to expect. I loved the food and flavor combinations. I don't even know what the spices were on my Skillet so I couldn't describe it, but it was fabulously delicious. I've never had baklava so I feel like this place was a great place to have my first because it was also yummy. Parking was a bit of a bother because of location between the 8 and 10, so we parked a few blocks away and walked in. Definitely worth it. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely return. There are a bunch more things on the menu I'd like to try.

This place lived up to all the 5 star reviews we read before visiting. The Turkish coffee and Lamb Shank were the best I've had. My 10yr old daughter (the pickiest eater of our family) devoured the omelette and chicken wrap! Did I mention breakfast is served ALL DAY? We were also lucky enough to have the owner himself wait on us. He was such a delightful gentleman, you can tell his passion is in his business! We plan on supporting this place every chance we get. We certainly have found our new "Family Cafe"!

Excellent food! Wet really liked everything we tried: beef, chicken, lamb wraps; lamb special plate; lamb shank; halawa; amazing baklava. Everything was so very flavorful and served in a beautiful way. The only thing was that we were a group of 8 and the food really took a while. So make sure you plan accordingly if you are very hungry and need food quickly might not be the best idea. Best to come to expect spending some time there enjoying the conversation, the place is cozy.

Found a perfect brunch spot for Sunday✨ all the food we ordered were absolutely tasty and flavorful. People who served and made our food was so nice and heartwarming. My sis got smoothie and they let her pick the fresh fruit she wants. Thank you! ❤️

Family Cafe is a great spot with good portions, excellent customer service, and a homey feeling. Eating here feels a bit like you're over at their house for a meal. The Turkish coffee was excellent with beautiful serving wear and cutlery. The food was great and was especially delicious when filled into the flat bread. Indoor seating is limited and there is outdoor seating available. I would definitely recommend and will be making a return trip to try the lamb shank.

Have been looking forward to dining here since first spying this quaint restaurant in Beaverton a few months ago. And I wasn't disappointed! Our family was lucky to score a window table in this cozy cafe's interior. What we saw was a well-oiled, family operation. Dad in the kitchen, mom in front-of-the-house, and daughter serving. Truly, a Family Cafe! Their menu was Med/Middle East influenced and unique. We had the basic Omelette which was anything but basic. The blend of spices and veggies was exceptional. Also, we had the Beef Mix omelette which was delicious. And a bowl of their garbanzo soup was wonderful. I understand now why this mom and pop establishment is rated 5 star.

From the moment you walk in everything looks and smells delicious. I had the Most delicious breakfast called the Beef Mix. Best breakfast I've had! Don't forget the Turkish coffee! One word... YUM! If you're a foodie, it is a must! If you like delicious food, it's a must! Can't wait to go back!

This little jewel is tucked into Beaverton's Broadway street. Very homey atmosphere and attentively served by who I assume is the proprietor as well as the cook. Everything was fresh and flavorful, from the veggies on the salad to the rice on the main course. The Turkish coffee was a treat served on its own little tray with a few sugar cubes I didn't need because although it was strong, it was smooth and not too acidic. A very satisfying meal for $20 in a lovely atmosphere. Even the train rushing behind the shop added to its charm.

Wonderful family owned cafe. It felt like I was welcomed into their home to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Try the Turkish coffee, the omelette special, lamb with eggs or pancakes for breakfast (all were delicious and). We also took some baklava to go which was also delicious! Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

Fantastic place for Iraqi Chai, Turkish Coffee and fresh Baklava! The Garbanzo soup was one of my most favorite dishes. Best if you enjoy a hot dish on a cold day. Above all, the service was marvelous, down to Earth and it truly felt like a 'family' gathering for supper. You'll certainly love the experience and the delicious food. We fully recommend this place and most definitely going back to try out the other dishes!

Family Café was such a wonderful experience. From the Turkish Coffee, to the Lamb Special, to the Iraqi Chai, everything was delicious, and the sweet owners were absolutely fantastic. This is a gem of a find for Beaverton, we'll be going back as often as possible... Even just to sip the tea and watch the world go by.

We came to Family Cafe for brunch this afternoon and ordered the lamb dish and special omelette. The flavor and texture of this food is top tier! It’s highly rated for very good reason. The staff working here were also extremely friendly and inviting, you can tell they care a lot for their customers. The only regret I have is that I was so full I couldn’t try more dishes! I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their amazing menu.

Had a great brunch time over here! Service is awesome. There aren't many seats in the store so get prepared if you're coming on weekend mornings

This cute place serves the best Mediterranean food. We ordered the Turkish coffee which was sooooooo good. It was an entirely different experience. The special dish was indeed very special. The lamb gyro was tasty and was served with beans and rice. The salad served was also nice. We also ordered the lamb wrap which was nicely grilled and was tasty. Most important thing to mention about this place is the halawa. I loved it!! Pistachio baklava was also tasty. They’ve got Very friendly staff too.

I wish if I can put 6 stars. This is my second time over here, and definitely going to try it again. The food tastes incredible, it’s made in spot (so fresh). The place is so cozy, and the decor is middle eastern. The owner and his wife have hospitality beyond words. I highly recommend to visit it.

We came to family café for our 1 year anniversary breakfast and the wait wasn’t too bad at all! Sat out on the front patio area, it has such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. The service was very pleasant and overall a small quaint experience! It was also my first time trying Turkish coffee! So very delicious 😋 Me and my husband will definitely be coming back.

I love this little place. Service is top level and the food was amazing. Will go back to try lunch and dinner. The baked goods and Turkish coffee was a great way to sit back, relax and have a sweet treat and sip some good coffee. The presentation was impressive and puts a bow on the great atmosphere and treats.

What a great little spot! Didn’t expect this small space to have the best service, beautiful serving utensils, and excellent food. A gem of a place with delicious Iraqi chai and Turkish coffee!

This is incredible food. INCREDIBLE! The rice & beans were seasoned perfectly. The gyro meat was amazing. The meat dish (beef with eggs) was delicious. The family that run The Family Cafe are sweet and you can tell they really want you to have the best dining experience possible. And they deliver! We are such fans now and can't wait to return.

What an incredible gem. The turkish coffee was smooth and earthy that paired perfectly with the most dense baklava I've eaten to date. We had the lamb eggs and beef skillet (it came in an actual skillet) that was pared with a light breakfast salad and fluffy bread. The inside of the cafe was small but comfortable. I loved being able to watch them make the turkish coffee since it was stationed near our table. We will definitely be back.

My first time here, and I am stunned! We had the chicken wrap, two savory pastries, Iraqi tea and milk tea to go. Everything was excellent, and a great price across the board. The best part was the service, I would put that at 6 stars if possible. The family owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be coming back here, and often!

Me and my fiancé come here at least once a month. It is so homey and welcoming here. Their Turkish coffee and Iraqi tea are delicious, and the food is all freshly made, and the seasonings are amazing. I have a hard time making decisions at restaurants with many options, so I appreciate how simple and straightforward their menu is!
