I love Harman. There are no other pools in the area quite like it. Keeping the water as warm as this place does makes going swimming in the wintertime a non-issue and not to mention the saline water that's used is helpful to my extremely sensitive skin. Prior to the Pandemic, I swam at Harman 4 days a week before work. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was gut wrenching when everything reopened, and Harman did not. I checked every week and even emailed and called THPRD on several occasions with no answers for a planned reopening date. When I checked again a few weeks ago, I was thrilled to see the pool reopened! But my excitement immediately turned to disappointment when I saw the limited hours the pool is now offering. Of course, I'm aware of staffing shortages and other red tape, but these hours are inconvenient and impossible to plan around for someone who works full time during the week. When Harman extends their hours again that allow people who aren't retired to use the facility, I'll happily give a 5-star rating!

Nice warm water for kids for swimming , reasonable price and helpful staff .My son teacher Tess ,she is amazing and kids have so fun with her. He loves to come here and learn swimming.

I hadn’t been swimming in a while, so I got a three month THPRD membership to swim here. I went to swim and it turns out they have a high temperature pool to help keep older people warm while they exercise. Great, but now lap swimming is rough because the pool is so warm. Had they noted this when I spent a bunch of money, I’d have known not to join, since I can’t drive to another pool, timewise. They don’t offer refunds. Great, thanks a bunch.

Great place for lessons for kids. Pool is warm, staff is friendly, facility is clean, wifi is free. My only complaint is that it is almost unbearably hot inside for my taste. Be prepared to strip down to shorts and a tee!

Great place for swim lessons. The staff is really good with kids and they do a solid job of teaching swimming basics. The pool is quite warm - not sure if it is great for laps, but the warmer water is much easier to get into!

Very disappointed ... twice my daughter receives the next level notification at the end of session and twice she got moved back down by the manager. Don't have progress cards if you are going rove kids back. The first time my daughter broke into tears and the second sadly she thought it was normal to move down!!! Teacher Tessa also didn't do a lot of demonstration of swimming skills.

A lot nicer after the renovations. The staff here are very and the swim instructors are great! This is the warmest pool in THPRD so it's great for little as well as older folks and in general in the winter!

Not very busy when we went. They have a pool for lap swimming and a scheduled time for open swimming. They have a bunch of flippers you can use which is fun and they have equipment available for handicapped people to be raised and lowered into the pool. 5.50$ for entrance on a hot day good way to cool off.

My son has been taking lessons at this pool for almost a year. All the instructors are excellent (especially Keziah, we love her.). Compared to the other pools in the THPRD, and I have been to most of them, this is the best. The staff and lifeguards look happy to be there and they are so good with kids. And it has a comfortable lobby for waiting, too.

The staff at Harmon pool are so friendly and nice. Many of the people who swim there are also really enjoyable. The air can be cold sometimes but the showers are nice and hot and you have the choice of privacy for getting dressed. The water is usually such a relief, and warm. You can usually find parking in the parking lot. There are many adaptations for people in wheelchairs. Goggles, nose clips and locks are available at a reasonable price at the main desk. Most exercise equipment that you might need in a pool is available on loan. Hot air hand blowers sometimes stand in as hair dryers. There is a swimsuit ringing machine but it's a bit moldy. Staff keeps the shower and Floors very clean.

I enjoyed the pool and its right next to this cute little park and garden. The staff was friendly, the place was clean (even the bathrooms) and most of all the pool was warm! Which was great after the kids walk in this weather. 😌
