It must be the most horrible experience I have ever met! There is a COCKROACH 🪳in the noodles. The awful thing is, it was found after I almost finished eating. However, the same thing happened twice! I ordered the ChongQing Noodles at first, but when I was eating, I found a fly or something bug in the bowl. So I requested the waitress, she said sorry, then changed another ChongQing Noodles for me. But same thing happened again! This time I even found a cockroach! God…. I will never come back to this restaurant which definitely doesn’t meet the hygienic standards!

In short… This is THAT place! Their flavor is unbelievable! When I found this place last year, I went there 3 days in a row with friends and pretty much tried more than half of the menu! For the safety of my pocket, I cut down my visit to like once every week for a while. Their prices are very reasonable though. I’ve had a lot of their dishes and they never missed. One dish I HAVE to mention is the pork buns… literally the best buns I’ve ever had so far and I try a lot of buns! Oh man i gotta mention their spicy oil wonton too! And their pineapple coconut drink which is out of this world… all of their drinks are delicious! And if you get something extra spicy…prepare to actually feel some heat!

I was there with my friend when I was visiting. We ordered peppercorn and spicy chicken, noodles and chickpea minced pork, and the beef noodle soup. All of them are really good. Highly recommend the peppercorn and spicy chicken. N1, N2, and N3 have the same sauce. They just have different toppings. The service there was also exceptional. The waitress who served us is very friendly and made great recommendations for us.

Wonderful soup noodles. A hole in the wall place that serves really nice Chinese dishes for reasonable prices. I had the beef noodle soup. The broth was very flavorful and steaming hot. Some people might feel that the broth is a bit fatty but at least for me it was very tasty. Also their dishes are a bit on spicier side so please be aware of it. I reduced a star because the side I ordered was delivered cold. It was a special for the day so probably pre-made but they have to serve it hot. Also I tried their tea and it was mediocre. So buy their noodles, you probably won’t regret it.

One of the best tasty and cheap places I’ve ever gotten noodles! My spicy peanut noodle dish was only $10! It’s great if you get the spicy wontons and the scallion pancake appetizers since the wonton sauce makes for a good dip for the pancakes. Be wary of orders with the chili peppers if you have a low spice tolerance! At least the cucumber water they serve you helps to tackle the spice well :)

We have been eating here every week for two years. All noodles are delicious! Friends who love spicy or hate spicy can all find their favorite. We also like most of the dishes and dim sum on the second page of the menu. Try adding chicken leg and peanuts to your bowl of noodle/rice. Quick service, delicious, nice prices, 5% off if you pay in cash. Recommended!

Great food, authentic flavor of spicy oil , tasty desserts, attentive service. Close to major Chinese market and Rockville town center. Convenient parking, small space with limited tables, so Come early .

This place is fire. My boyfriend and I ordered an appetizer (pan-fried pork and chive dumplings), an entree each (the chongqing noodles and the noodles in scallion oil with chicken), and a drink each, and paid 40 dollars total including tip. Everything was delicious, the service was super fast and friendly, and the prices are exceedingly reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!

Really good, authentic Chinese food. The scallion pancakes are my personal favorites, and you can’t go wrong with any of the hot or cold noodles. My immigrant relatives from China insist on coming here whenever we are around - that’s probably the highest compliment I can give! Prices are very cheap.

Big portion! And fairly priced! Finally! I love Chinese food and this place is great. Decor and vibe reminds me of China. I got the yibin noodles and it tasted very flavorful! A little salty for me but I still enjoyed. My friend got a cold noodle dish and she loved it. Nothing is too spicy, although you can always add chili oil if you’d like!

This is one of the most amazing restaurants we've found in the entire DC Metro area. Rockville has a lot of good Chinese food but this place is above the rest. Everything we've had there has been delicious.

A hidden gem in Rockville, a must try for anyone. One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants. A cuisine from an unheard area of China. Food is excellent and very tasty. I had the Wonton Spicy Soup, the Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup, the Peppercorn Spicy Chicken and Spicy Wonton as appetizers. Love the atmosphere, reminiscent of Chongqing area of China and food of the back streets. Service is excellent and employees very friendly. I can’t wait to return again and try the many more interesting items on the menu!

Had the yibin dry noodles, marinade tofu, pan fried pork wonton, and the scallion pancake - all so so delicious!! Flavorful and fresh.

A tight little restaurant in Rockville. The service is quick and easy. We ordered two rice noodles. One is fish and one is lamb. Two of them have different types of rice noodles and both are tasty in a different way. Most importantly, they both have some sort of vegetable in the soup. I felt thirsty in the afternoon, but I'm not sure if it is caused by this lunch or that I simply didn't drink enough water. They also offer traditional Chinese breakfast on weekends.

Authentic and super affordable Chinese food from the Chongqing area. Appetizers, cold noodles, soup based noodles and rice dishes on the menu. The cucumber infused water is a nice touch. Got the chicken wings. Perfectly done. Came out steaming hot and crispy covered with red chilly paste based sauce. The equally delicious Chongqing noodles had brown noodles in a red spicy broth with a fried egg and Bok Choi. Added the ground beef for an extra $2.

We came in and ordered shredded potatoes, a side dish of chicken, with an entree of beef noodles. This is so far one of my new favorite Chinese Noodle place; and according to my Chinese friend, the place offers authentic Sichuan-style Chinese noodles. Great place to go with affordable prices, highly recommended!

Chinese restaurant that specializes in noodles, soups, dumplings & wontons. It's small, quaint, cozy & aesthetically pleasing AND the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup was delicious! The only thing I did not like was the Seafood Noodle Soup. The soup was very bland. Other than that, everything else was great.

Food was fantastic, authentic, satisfying. First time I’ve had 宜宾燃面 outside China! Staff were aware of soy sauce having gluten and really happy to accommodate us and modify dishes, but unfortunately we still had issues with celiac reactions afterwards, maybe cross contamination. I like their cucumber water. 土豆丝 shredded potato dish, potato tower, 宜宾燃面 Yibin noodles, cold rice noodles with shrimp and sesame paste. Got mango sago and coconut milk black rice to go. Prices were good for Chinese food in the US.

Friendly staff. Great ambience. The food was just ok. Dumplings were good but not memorable. The sesame shrimp noodles were oddly flavorless. With the Chongqing decor, I had expected a lot more heat and flavor.
