The Red Like emerges from it's tunnel south of Twinbrook here at White Flint. The station has tunnels at both ends, but the station is outdoors in an open cut. There is the typical island platform and a modified peaked roof, similar to Grosvenor to the south. The station itself is located in the White Flint neighborhood of North Bethesda. This was once the site of the White Flint Mall, but it was torn down in 2015. This station has ample commuter parking, similar to other suburban stops. White Flint opened in December of 1984 as part of the extension from Grosvenor to Shady Grove. After this station, the Red Line immediately returns to cut and cover tunnel along Rockville Pike.

Nothing to do around this station but everything works I've expected it's also wheelchair accessible and I never problems here, not from staff, mechanical issues or any other kind. If you lose something in the station though you'll have a long road to drive to get it since they send everything away to a specific office that takes care of the lost and found

Very convenient stop next to the Marriott hotel. Only 5 minutes walking distance on a flat street. Be careful that the metro station changed name from White Flint to North Bethesda. The metro station still shows up as White Flint on google maps but Iā€™m the metro the announcements are for North Bethesda! Attaching a photo if it can help some of you! Enjoy Bethesda! A very beautiful suburb. Also Whole Foods is close by the metro station. The super markets in this county do not sell alcohol but there are several liquor store in the area in walking distance. Also several Starbucks are around and cozy restaurants for brunch.

It's a nice metro station, but no one who lives in the area is happy with name change from White Flint to North Bethesda.

The station is outdoors. It can be cold in winter time.

The station employees here have always been helpful. The escalator seems like it's a hit or miss and I'm surprised at the amount of trash people leave on the platform (not sure if the passengers are that inconsiderate or if the trash receptacles are just too few and far apart when rushing for the train).

Use caution when interacting with the WMATA staff at this station. The station manager on a Tuesday evening around 6:45 PM declined to allow me (a paying customer) to use the customer restroom (literally a bathroom labeled 'customer restroom'). The manager asked if I needed to take a 'wee wee' then told me to use a port-o-john instead. The level of patronizing was comically bad. I would be more angry if I weren't just so disappointed that this is the level of professionalism that WMATA permits. It may be time to pull the trigger on that electric car I've been looking at....

There is a parking garage here at this station. The trains come every couple minutes and there is a LED screen that says when the next train is arriving. There is awesome customer service when I went and the fairgates and escalators work fine. The white flint mall doesn't really exist anymore and I think the station will be renamed to North Bethesda soon... Even the Arby's I loved to go to is now gone... This area is kind of dying but whatever.

Smartrip machines were all out of order but the station manager was very helpful.

Love the name change to reflect the new community identity. Can't wait for the north entrance to be built.

Worst mcdonalds that I have EVER been to! All of the carbonated sodas tasted terrible, so I ask for a SWEET Tea. The sweet tea was either old or unsweetened. THEN when I check the bag, 2 items that I was charged for, were not in the bag. I will never go to this location ever again!
