Soo
I
may
have
nearly
died...
I
hesitated
in
coming
to
a
hospital
due
to
lack
of
health
insurance
and
not
knowing
the
severity
of
my
situation.
I'm
glad
I
chose
to
come
here.
It's
30
minutes
from
where
I
live
but
the
staff
is
absolutely
incredible.
There's
a
cafeteria
and
a
Starbucks
on
the
first
floor
too!
It's
a
very
clean
&
safe
hospital.
Throughout
being
on
the
edge
and
not
knowing
what
was
wrong
with
me,
having
to
get
poked
by
constant
needles
and
not
being
able
to
use
the
bathroom
without
bedpans
or
catheters/
all
the
very
scary
situations
I've
been
in,
the
nurses
are
very
considerate
about
everything.
I've
seen
so
many
nurses
and
doctors
in
my
week
of
being
here.
We
met
a
nurse
in
the
ICU
that
was
so
full
of
energy.
She
was
very
sweet,
funny
and
helped
us
even
though
she
wasn't
our
assigned
nurse.
My
mother
was
going
on
about
my
relationship
to
her
and
she
kept
things
partial
but
was
very
engaged
in
the
conversation
and
so
we
began
to
know
her
by
the
nickname
Switzerland
and
every
time
she
passed
by
she'd
wave
and
brighten
the
room
(I
believe
her
name
was
Marianne?)
Thank
you!
Thank
you
to
Marianne,
Vilma,
Nicole,
Alphba,
Stephanie,
D'ara,
Christine,
Jaylene,
Haydee,
Joan,
Grecia,
Yeni,
Joseph
with
the
respiratory
team
(He
was
from
the
ICU
and
was
very
sweet,
any
time
he
passed
by
and
I
needed
help
he
was
there,
even
when
the
nurses
had
to
draw
blood
and
I
was
freaking
out,
they
all
3
tag
teamed
to
talk
and
distract
me
from
the
needle
and
it
was
a
really
funny
experience)
Thank
you
Dr.Michael
Hernandez
(I
owe
you
some
Sonny's!),
Dr.
Hailey
Schuyler,
Dr.Altman
and
Dr.Janelle
Uruttia.
I'm
very
bad
at
remembering
names
so
I'm
not
100%
on
the
names
of
the
nurses
that
took
good
care
of
me
(which
is
sad).
These
nurses
run
around
constantly
day
and
night
and
you
can
tell
they're
exhausted
with
how
much
they
have
to
do
and
the
things
they
have
to
see,
but
they
still
remain
really
hospitable
and
sweet.
I
can't
do
much
to
repay
all
that's
been
done
for
me
but
I
do
want
to
say
thank
you.
💜
These
people
are
amazing
and
saved
my
life
and
I
can't
fully
even
remember
their
names
but
I
remember
the
faces
and
the
way
they
made
me
feel
safe
and
taken
care
of.
Thank
you
so
very
much.
I've
been
between
5
different
rooms
and
the
ICU
for
a
few
days
but
mostly
the
hope
building,
and
there's
the
hope
that
I'll
be
better
and
going
home
in
a
few
days.
The
recovery
has
been
long
but
I'm
so
grateful
to
be
able
to
breathe
and
walk
again.
My
all
time
favorite
nurse
so
far
is
taking
care
of
me,
Vilma
is
such
a
funny
person.
She
goes
above
and
beyond
and
considers
things
you
might
need
before
you
even
think
to
ask.
I
feel
a
lot
better
than
when
I
first
came
here
and
the
staff
has
not
only
kept
me
alive
when
I've
had
strep,
Rhyno
virus
and
a
very
extreme
bacterial
pneumonia
that
got
into
my
blood
stream
but
they
actively
have
made
a
really
scary
experience
much
easier.
I'm
so
happy
I
came
here.
I
had
both
good
and
bad
experiences
I'd
never
imagined
and
it's
definitely
been
a
journey.
I'll
be
back
to
visit
and
say
thank
you
to
everyone
as
soon
as
I'm
better.
