I watched Emma tonight and it was wonderful! This is the first time I've been to the Orem location whereas I previously watched theater productions at the Sandy location and West Valley. The stage is smaller and there are less people in the audience so I was skeptical, but the acting and singing was superb! The use of stage and surroundings so well done. Definitely recommend!

We LOVED a Christmas carol 2022 so we brought our friends this year and it was no where near as good. The costumes were basic, the props were almost non existent. Very disappointed.

I went to see a Christmas Carol this year with my family (like Ive done every year for the last decade or so). Normally I love this play, I think it is beautiful and amazing. This year I was horribly disappointed. The cast was speaking in 3rd person the entire show like actually saying things like “bob cratchet was then friendly with his family” or “Then ebanezer said hello” it took everyone out of the moment and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to see the play again. I can’t imagine why you would have a character say what they are about to do/narrate themselves instead of just letting them act. And on top of all that every year they seem to cut more and more of the amazing songs out. What I’d give to see them preform “I was a boy” again. Truly disappointed and everyone I spoke to felt the same. Any other year and it would’ve been a five star.

I’ve seen maybe upwards of 150 performances here in my short life of 14 years. Every single performance is absolutely incredible. This theater literally raised me and has shaped such a huge piece of who I am. Most Recently at this theater, I went 7 times to see sound of music. I saw opening night so it only made sense to see closing too. Because of the small size, the feeling in this theater on closing night was absolutely unmatched. Being surrounded by people who love theater as much as you do is such an incredible feeling. I was sobbing the whole night just enjoying the show by myself. This theater is amazing.

I do not come here often enough! I have loved it every time. We went to the new theater up north, and it is awesome, but I still love this little theater in the round. The actors they get here are super talented, and the play choices are always wonderful. I'm not a power customer, but thank you Hale theater for making every experience great.

It’s an interesting experience visiting here. The staff is nice, and the actors are great. The theater is old and small. The bathrooms are old and not very well kept. Seats are small and don’t have cup holders. This is awkward because they sell concessions and drinks but you have to hold them the whole time. Because the acting is good and the overall use of space is effective, you get pulled into the story. So, be patient with the facilities but enjoy the show.

The "Music Man" show was a spectacular. WOW weeeeee The ending was incredible. No bad seats. The actors know how to perform on a round stage. We left being amazed & full of joy! In a crazy world, we need these kind of uplifting shows.

Great quality shoes with big talent. Box office is on the side. Will call is in front. Arrive early to ensure you get closer parking.

You have to go see The Music Man! The lead actor was on Broadway and is indescribable. His acting, singing, and dancing were perfect. The entire audience had smiles on their faces during the whole performance. Having such an intimate and charming theater was a once in a lifetime experience to have a Broadway professional perform within a few feet of you. Loved it! Amazing talent, and fun and engaging cast.

So much fun & entertainment. Only one negative, the seats are too close together & not really any leg room. But once the construction on the new theater is complete, it should be more comfortable. 5 stars other than this.

Great little theater! They've updated the stage over the years which has been a plus and I'm excited to see what they do with the new theater. I don't get down this way too often but everything I've seen here has been fantastic! Great talent and wonderful use of space❤️

I went to the show Once last night. The actors were talented. The music was lovely but the content of the play was edgy. It seems like the shows at the Hale Center theaters have always been family friendly. I saw a painting of Ruth Hale there. She was a friend of my grandparents and she and her husband came to my parents wedding. Would she approve of Once, I think not. On the way home one of the members of my party said that it was called Once because "seeing it once was enough."

I've now seen 2 shows at this theater and both times I've been swept off my feet. The cast truly gives their all to the performance. The set, while simple, is cozy and cute. With the way seating is arranged it is easy to become immersed in the performance. Highly, highly recommend. I will come back for the next show that's set to run.

Super small and intimate and yet amazing performances!! I've only seen a couple of shows here but each one was so very well done. There's no bad seat in the house, you feel up close and personal no matter where you are. Each actor can sing and dance with incredible talent!

This was a fun theater to go to! It is pretty small but the audience sits around a circular stage in the center so it was fun and different. We went to Pride and Prejudice which was fantastic

We absolutely love Hale Center Theater Orem! They always do such an incredible job with their shows and we have had so many great experiences with their customer service. We LOVE being season ticket holders.

A great venue that has aged well. The intimacy of the seating and stage make you feel you are part of the production—because you are! Their use of space is phenomenal. Look for their new facility sometime in 2024-2025 in Pleasant Grove on the doTERRA campus!

We love coming to plays here! We've had season tickets for the past two years and everyone we have come the performance had always been great. The cast is all children ages anywhere from 5-18, they are very well done. My kids love seeing other children their age perform. This a wonderful place for families!

Wonderful show and creative set design. Their rendition of A Christmas Carol was heart warming. A great value for the price of the ticket. The acting was top notch. One time the show was cancelled and the box office happily scheduled us for another show for no additional cost. If you don't get tickets together, you can sit by each other if there are empty seats. It smells like the theatre, in a good way.

It is always a special night out at The Hale the very best for last " A Christmas Carol" in the HCTO . So so many fantastic and gracious memories ❤️ looks like at least one more full year before the new theater in Pleasant Grove opens. 😊

Amazing show! The players were simply fantastic and the production value is super high! It's crazy to think that with such a small venue they can have such high production value. We saw a Christmas Carole and we loved it. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to see a play!

Saw Sister Act!! It was such a good show. The cast was excellent. The building is small and cramped that is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. They do such a good job with the space they have!

I have gotten season tickets for the past 2 years, great prices and CRAZY talented actors. You really get sucked into the world of the play despite the small stage. I preferred this over seeing Hamilton in L.A and if that doesn't convince you I don't know what will

This Orem location always has high quality, family friendly, entertaining shows. I have been going for 20 years and I have never been disappointed. It is theater in the round, meaning seats are all around the stage (usually 3 sides) and you are very close to the actors. If you are scared of spit, stay away from the front row! Small theater, you feel like you are right in the action.

I love this theater. It's very small, but they do a fantastic job of putting on productions that feel incredibly big. The musicals are by far the best. I've discovered many musicals that I'd never heard of before, but absolutely loved, thanks to this place. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to enjoy live theater in Utah County!

We were in town and saw Camelot. At first, I was hesitant due to the size of the theatre. (We are in Arizona and the Gilbert theatre is much bigger.) But the actors did a great job! The singing, acting, costumes, etc were all top notch. Parking was fine and will call quick. A bit narrow entrance area. Our seats in 3rd row south were excellent. Easy to exit when snow was over. Glad we visited while in the area.

This is a tiny theater but you shouldn't judge this place by its size. The productions are well done. Costumes and sets are amazing. The actors are very talented. We saw a musical and there weren't any cast members lacking in talent (singing or acting wise). I would go again (driving all the way from Idaho to get there).
