Glad this place is open now. Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the food. I will be back to try the rolls and ramen.

We ate so much food and went family style on the sushi. It was a wonderful experience and even met the chef. This was my first time having sushi on a large scale, and it was really good. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting to try sushi for their first time!

Absolutely awesome food for a pretty good price! The tonkotsu ramen was super yummy and the broth was rich and flavorful. The food was so good that I came back later that week for sushi! Their sushi is also really delicious and very well priced. Great vibes and a cute place for date night! Highly recommend!

Went to dine in tonight and was very pleased with the food and service. Tried the ramen and the sushi and it was amazing. The service is incredible as well. Definitely will be back.

This was me and my wife’s first time at this restaurant and we were eager to try many things on the menu. Everything was delicious but we quickly discovered that the portions they give you are huge. That being said, we had ramen and sushi for lunch and dinner. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and we will definitely be back!

They have great Appetizers and Ramen! You have to go check them out! Plus the service is great! Will be back!

The restaurant is clean and very friendly. I had their Takoyaki for my appetizer, which was so yummy! The OMO Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was my favorite. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. Best ramen I had in KC! I also ordered the Ward Parkway Roll and Scallop Dynamite Roll. Both rolls were amazing and fresh. I will for sure be back to try more!

Excellent customer service, friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was quick and excellent. Beautiful presentation. It was a quality meal. We will definitely be back. Lots of families and nice open seating area. Fried Calamari, Lava Roll, 9.1.1 roll and Spicy Tonkatsu ramen.

Clean, good service, delicious food! You will not be disappointed. We had donkatsu and spicy donkatsu ramen and several rolls including VIP. All of them were delicious. Worth the drive.

Visited with old friend and it was amazing place. The ramen had bit of spiciness which made the broth not greasy. Takoyaki was good too. Crispy on the surface, but soft inside. Price isn’t that high. Great place to eat and hang out. Employees were very kind too.👍

Friendly greeting. Spacious seating area. Choice of booth or table. Menu was easy to read and make choices from. Authentic Japanese noodle dishes and sushi. The men in our group ordered beers to share, very nice. Our server was helpful in making helpful suggestions to newbies. Apps were jalapeno bomb and octopus something or other. We all shared sushi rolls. We had one spicy ramen and one not spicy ramen. Would definitely return!

I really enjoyed my lunch (still ordered off the dinner menu) at Omo. I’ve been by a few times and wanted to try it and today had the time and decided to stop in. The service was extremely quick and very friendly. The food was extremely reasonably priced and had large portions as well. I got the combo Chicken Teriyaki and Tempura Box (which comes with a gyoza, crab rangoon, salad, rice, and miso soup) and it was fantastic! My friend got the shrimp tempura udon soup and I swear it was as large as your head! Both those plates and an appetizer of gyoza and crab rangoons (didn’t realize my meal came with both) came to about $40. I definitely recommend Omo if you’re in the mood for some tasty Japanese food. I can’t wait to come back and try the sushi!

The items were absolutely fantastic! We such a perfect afternoon date! The workers were welcoming and the ramen was delicious! The takoyaki is one of my favorite dishes ever and was so amazing. We also tried some of the sushi rolls with mango (the K.C. roll with tempura shrimp that was topped with mango and another mango roll topped with salmon from the cooked/fried section), and we were absolutely delighted with how delectable every item was! We will certainly be going again!

Awesome experience. The food was great. Best Crab Rangoons in Kansas City. Ramen was very good. Sushi (Kamikaze roll) was excellent. Everything was fresh, tasty and at temperature. Nice, attentive service. World definitely eat here again.

AMAZING SUSHI!!! Better than the more expensive joints AND budget friendly. I got the lunchbox combo (which gives you a choice of salad or miso soup) with the tempura California roll and the tempura Philadelphia roll. Both were awesome!

Good, but... I ate it all. It is part of the clean plate club. The egg was great, a nice mix of veggies, and for the style of pork, it was good. I got the spicy tonkatsu and it had a kick, but I would recommend they serve with additional spice for the customer to add as it would be nice to kick it up after getting used to how it is served. I enjoyed the broth, btw. It was creamy and had a good flavor. I did have the spicy tonkatsu, so some of the flavor of the broth was covered by the spice, but the broth was definitely creamy, regardless. A good balance of umami and salt. I do question how fresh the ramen noodles are, however. They were overcooked, or they are prepackaged. They were not a bad flavor, but the texture was missing that I would reserve for 5 stars. I was also disappointed that the pork was not served chashu style, another reason for the 4 stars. They are just cooking flat pork belly, then slicing that and cooking it up before plating. It leaves the meat tougher and lacking the flavor that it would have if they would wrap it up as chashu. All that being said, I suggest going. The broth itself is something to experience, and the servings will leave you full. I hope to try again next time I am in town

We were super excited to come here because our past experiences have been great. We got a table right away but that is about the only good thing. 6 tables came in after us (staggered) and all of them got their food while we were still patiently waiting. One table even finished and left and we still had no food. I even had to go to the bar to get refills of water. Our server never came back, we had to flag people down. It was very clear that he forgot to put in our order. When I point blanked asked this to another server he did agree that he thought that was what happened. We left after almost an hour never getting dinner. They also weren’t busy which is almost more insulting.
