Receiving stem cell treatment in a different country is something that feels very uncomfortable and foreign to me. Through PlacidWay, we were able to find a facility that worked with our budget and walked us through the process to put us at ease. It’s a shame that stem cell treatment isn’t insured in the United States because it is absolutely the future of medicine. The US is focused on “treating” ailments as opposed to “curing” them. If you cure someone then you can’t keep them as a patient and you eliminate them as a revenue stream. Hundreds of years from now, historians will teach about the flawed medical system in the US during this time and how predatory it was to its citizens. From pushing addictive painkillers to inflated medical prices, this is a broken system that’s begging to be fixed. I’m glad Mexico is so close and that we were able to utilize their services.

I could not have done this treatment for kidney disease without the assistance Ricardo Valdez. We had contacts since early days of September through out the day I arrived in Mexico City, Mexico. I felt it the safest place in Mexico. Then narrowed it down from there. Many, many, many providers show up but most weren't someplace I would like to visit. I have used Placid Way twice to find a surgeon in Mexico, specifically in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. I have gotten my dental in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico since 2011. This is an unusual Mexico/ United States border town in that there is no immigration center to process immigrants so immigrants do not cross over the international bridge from Nuevo Progreso, Mexico to Weslaco, Texas the city in the United States on the other side of the bridge from Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. Nuevo Progreso is an extremely quiet town that is friendly and very helpful to tourists having sufficient natives that speak English well. Dr. Carlos Vergara, a plastic surgeon from the State of Art in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico, was referred to me through the Placid Way website. Dr. Vergara and his staff communicated with me numerous times by way of cell phone and email before the appointment in May. 24, 2023 at 9 a.m. I was well informed as to directions to the clinic being only one block from the border and one block to the right. I was well informed as to what to expect during the first visit. The State of Art facility is a brand new medical facility that also has complete dental care with an oral surgeon and is very up today with all the needed medical equipment. The facility is extremely clean and the staff use proper sterile medical procedures. Parking is provided in front of the building and in a gated area for staying overnight. Dr. Carlos Vergara speaks Spanish and English very well. He is a very effective communicator. He asked a lot of questions prior to my exam in order to properly assess and diagnose my vaginal posterior prolapse. He brought in a Gynecologist to assist during the procedure so as to not only accomplish restoration of the vaginal tissue beautifully but also restore the proper function of the vaginal tissue..My aftercare was excellent. I was given the necessary medication to keep me pain free and to manage any inflammation and prevent infection. I was given clear instructions as to my aftercare at home and physical restrictions. I highly recommend Plastic Surgeon Dr. Carlos Vergara from State of the Art who is the owner of State of Art as a plastic surgeon in the area of vaginoplasty and facial cosmetics. Dr. Carlos Vergara is skilled in most areas of plastic surgery.. Dr. Carlos Vergara pricing was excellent and his location in the town of Nuevo Progreso is just one block from the border with being one block to the main road. Dr. Carlos Vergara will be my plastic surgeon for life. Placid Way also was excellent in communication. This is my second time using Placid Way to find a surgeon in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. I would also highly recommend Placid Way as a source to find medical services all over the world.

The doctor was great I was picked up checked into a great hotel picked up for the tests before surgery. Taken to a really state of the art hospital. Great care. Was taken to physio after I got out of hospital. The latest surgery physio equipment used. The Placidway customer support team was also a great help and would/ will do anything to help. All in all the service Doctors were extremely good and very caring. I highly recommend this Medical Tourism Company.

Several weeks ago I was in the Mexican border town of Los Algodones for dental work, which is much cheaper south of the border than in the US. While there I had a consultation with a doctor at Sani Medical for a hair transplant. While at the time I decided to put off this procedure, I was impressed by the doctor's knowledge and professionalism.
