I stayed in Egret and the building is outdated and in need of maintenance. Our “clean” unit had broken glass on counter and floor. 2nd bedroom had dead ants all over the bed and pillows. Fortunately we weren’t using it. Dead ants were on all windowsills. This was the second room as we rejected first one due to clogged/overflowing toilet. Emails to Operations Manager went unanswered; very disappointing! Would not recommend staying at Vacation Village!

It’s just old. Most uncomfortable “hotel” mattress I have ever slept on. The hair dryer almost caught fire in my hand the morning we checked out. The freezer just smelled awful. No water pressure in the shower and there was hair on the shower walls from a previous occupant that I had to clean off. No shampoo, soap bars don’t even lather without some serious elbow grease. Didn’t waste our time with their one “free” breakfast and “tour.” They charged us $20 to “reserve” our spot at breakfast. I’ll be interested to see if that charge drops. For the money, we could have stayed at a holiday inn. Not the “resort” experience we were expecting at all.

Beautiful property with friendly people. I had a great room in a nice building with a lovely view of the top of palm trees. My favorite thing was being able to sit out in the balcony in the morning drinking coffee and in the evenings with a glass of iced tea. The weather in early May was still perfect low 80s with lower humidity. Only complaint is they need to trim back some of the overhanging tree limbs in the parking lot so tree sap does not stain your car.

We went to the tacos and treats event in lake worth on Sunday oct 15th, they had a booth set up with a raffle so we signed up for it and we got a call saying we won a $200 gift card. Okay awesome lady started going over stuff with us and she then said we are also throwing in a 4 day 3 night stay also but in order to qualify you need to come to our hotel for 90 minutes to see how nice it is and pay a $99 fee today and once you come in you’ll get your money back along with the $200 gift card…. It’s a scam they aren’t doing a raffle this company can’t be trusted I’ll never stay in any of their hotels now thanks to this scam

This is a fine place. My biggest problem with us was that RCI rated it as a gold crown (which it is not). The pool area and hot tub are nice, and the staff was super friendly. I just felt that the cleanliness and upkeep of the property could be greatly improved.

Great place to vacation. The unit was well equipped and the amenities as well. The staff was very attentive and amicable. If we needed anything we were extremely well looked after. I would recommend this resort to family or friends in a heartbeat. A definite five star plus class.

I wasn't impressed with their style of customer service from the moment I arrived at this Vacation Village resort, the second individual I did my check-in with was the worse customer service agent I have interacted with during my travels. The room was decent, I was under the impression I would have a washer and dry in the unit, but that changed during my visit. Otherwise, the room was nice with a walk in Shower and in room jacuzzi and nice kitchenette. The location is a little bit from Fort Lauderdale and restaurants. The outdoor pool and hot tub we're very relaxing during my short stay at this resort.

On the outside this place looks pretty and well kept. Not so on the inside. We rented both A & B condos in the Crane building. When you enter the vestibule to our condo you are immediately greeted by the smell of skunky weed!! 😳Our condo (A suite) was old and dingy and the paint job was clearly done by someone who didn’t care. The place was mostly clean but it didn’t look it because of all the chips and dings in the tile floor and the paint in places it didn’t belong. The A/C made the worst sound every time it turned on and it turned on a lot because there were such air leaks from the sliding glass doors And the sliding glass doors were so old that I couldn’t open and close them…had to get hubby to do it. The shower stall was being held together with clear silicone and some screws but had mold growth and holes that allowed plenty of water onto the tiles surrounding the shower stall and onto the floor. The exhaust fan was unbelievably loud so there was no way to use it if anyone was sleeping. We wanted to use the dishwasher as a drying rack but there were so many rusted spots, some of them right through the rack that we just couldn’t. The coffee maker had blue stuff on the cup spot and we had no idea how the maker worked because it wasn’t like a Mr Coffee and there was no name to google instructions. And the toaster wasn’t working properly either. The hair dryer didn’t work properly and smelled like an electrical fire waiting to happen. And the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Suite B reeked from weed! This suite wasn’t as beat up as suite A. The pain job was cleaner. However, due to the later hour when we arrived, we didn’t really inspect the suites. We unpacked toiletries and went to bed. The next morning it still stunk like weed and our daughter discovered that one of the pillows shams had smushed berries of some kind all over the back side of it. Hubby took the pillow to the reception center and they were all, “oh wow that’s just crazy, ok thanks”. Hubby replied with we want our daughters bedding changed, all of it. They were shocked at that request!?!?? Then, Tuesday we get an in suite phone call from someone named GG from the reception center offering us a gift card if we wanted to sit through their time share speech. I told her no thank you, we don’t ever plan on staying here again because it’s quite disappointing. GG responded with-oh wow ok. There’s something seriously wrong with this place and the people that work there. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!

We have been in RCI for over a 20 years. I am questioning what they spend the maintenance fees on The rooms have a musty smell. The furniture is so old and uncomfortable the rig was stained. We had to be moved to a different room. The fridge was rusty. Very disappointed

Room size impressive, bed arrangement was not what we expected or was told in advance. Dishwasher did not work well, kitchen faucet leaked. Unit faced highway, and car noise leaked through windows and sliding doors. Shower had good pressure, jacuzzi tub worked. Had to pay an extra housekeeping fee, yet no housekeeping was provided. Not enough pool chairs. No food on property. It's good, not great.

I was happy to back after so many years. The people are still warm and friendly. Excellent service!!! However, the resort was doing renovations and the noise was directly affecting me as it was in front my room. Everyone welcomes upgrade but next time don't place resort owners in rooms where workmen are working. In fact I asked for a room overlooking the pool and the girl gave me a room overlooking workmen drilling hence my early checked out. Didn't understand why she misled me like that. Regardless, it is my resort!!! I Love it and will come back soon. Hope next time it will be a phenomenal experience. Love and Blessings always

I love this place,I have been coming here since I was a kid, great customer service and very nice, lots of activities for kids, perfect for a family vacation, only 20 minutes from the beach. the only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the towels and shower, there was some hair on the towels, which is understandable because when they're washed hair is obviously in the washer and dryer, still grosses me out though, and the shower was clogged and the water took very long to go down,so that grosses me out as well, but other than that the cleanliness was adequate,I'm very picky and germaphobic,so I might be too picky. everything else was great!

Quite adequate for our overnight needs, Weston pool was beautiful, and the guy that tends the smoothie bar does a great job! Our unit was a bit aged, the mattress on the pull out sofa has to be replaced, and a lot of the floor tiles were loose. Shower was huge with a double shower head. Kitchen was very convenient. Don't forget to turn the ice maker on though.

The experience was ok. The room seemed moist and had a moisture smell. The services were nice and helpful. They shuttle service is a nice touch. I did like the pool area and the people I met were all so nice. I enjoyed my time at the pool. The location seemed a little far from attractions but if you wanna just chill this is cool.

Terrible! We were put in a studio, it was a terrible mistake no stove only a hot plate was, which we had to locate ourselves, as no mention of no stove when we checked in. Next, the television in the bedroom did not work, nor did the toilet paper holder, then we had to put our suitcases on the floor as they did not have a luggage holder in the room, then we go to use the shower the next day, and it doesn't work with the water sprocket about to fall off, and the units are totally old, not anything like the Wyndham resorts at all! If you stay here, I suggest you're not stay in a Cracker Jack box studio unit, no stove, no ice maker. I did not see any Fitness room either. We had an ice bucket in the room, but no icemaker in the building 🏢. When I called the front desk, I was told that the buildings next to us did. Unfortunately, he didn't tell me that our keys would not open either of the buildings 😭

This trip was bitter sweet: 5 day vacation experience Arrived late for check in and was greeted with care which was wonderful! What could go wrong? Get to my suite, which was booked by a owner of the Vacation Villages and received a small room for 6 people that I had brought with me. I was willing to deal with that considering we drove down late. Upon checking the room, food was found in the pull out couch, trash was left behind the couch, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty, and the bathroom tub hadn't been cleaned. Guest services took my request and said that we couldn't be moved because of the high volume of occupants. Which I could understand but no one came to clean the room. We also notified the guest services that we didn't have enough towels and I was told to walk across the parking lot, and down a trail to the laundry room to receive more towels. The hassle for vacation? 3 days of going to the pool there weren't ANY towels available at any point, so we had to keep using our towels from the room that we are already having trouble receiving. This is my first time in Florida, first time at this resort and needless to say that driving from Indiana I would not bring my family this far for this type of treatment for the experience again.

Want a weekend getaway with the kiddos, this place is perfect for it. Not a bit of trouble while there as far as the staff of the place. The visitors, a different story, be sure to pick a good pool, three on the property. The one directly behind the office wasn't such a great location.

The condo is great. Fully furnished. Large balcony. Jacuzzi tub. Lots of space. Polite front desk. Grounds kept well. Several pools. The only thing negative is there isn't anything on the premises to do except swim and cook out on the grill. It's a nice area under a gazebo to use the grill. Housekeeping is very accommodating. There IS a ton of things nearby to do though. Please go to the Key Food Market. Cooked food is great if you like Hispanic food. The meats are so cheap I bought a cooler and bought a bunch of it.

Room decor was not my taste but ok. Bed was not the best but fine for a few days. Hot plate didn't work properly and thats the only cooking source in the room. The building and rooms smelled good and everything was clean..No dishwasher but they provide a sponge and dish soap. Not many attractions we could find nearby but restaurants, shopping, beaches, Everglades are all close and fun.

Love it here! Our 2nd home for the last 25 years. Weston is such a great little small community with fantastic coutured landscaping and lake water fountains which makes this resort location so nice. The resort has choices of large rooms and many daily options of activities planned and their pool, golf, tennis and shuttle services offered to nearby shoppes allow you to enjoy life stress free.

The pool and waterfall are their best feature. Rraffic is loud at times but theu cant help that. The rooms are a bit dated but functional. Check in staff were not very informative - said our rooms were next to each other and when got up there they were at the opposite ends of the building, for example..... Any families with small children I'd recommend you bring your own pack and play if possible, or even just the mattress part - we got 3 total and all were from 2017 and had NO cushioning and didn't fit well. The kids pool was nice. They do have great outdoor gas grill and picnic area.

OH, where do I start. This place is a hidden GEM. We stayed at the Heron 1 units. The pool was crystal clear, the property is very well maintained. The staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. You must go out to eat at Enzo's that is only 4 minutes away. We did take out since we had a sunset balcony, street side but loved the view. We ate on our balcony every single night to see the sun go down. We loved it here and you are on our list to come back. Keep up the wonderful job.

  • 4/5 Russell M. 1 year ago on Google
It's a little dated. We have a B unit, so there's no balcony or real kitchen. The view of the golf course and lake are nice, and they allow pets. The pet units are not near the main units and pool. It can be difficult to get a chair at the pool. Not enough pool for the number of guests. You will have to drive a lot to go see things or even eat out. Seems everything is 20 minutes away

  • 5/5 Gael V. 6 months ago on Google
The rooms are good in size. Everything is clean. It's located in an area which is mostly residential so it's quiet. The local golf club and tennis club is nearby.

Stayed a week with all my grandkids ( 7). Had A&B units. Nice! Nice pool and kiddie pool. Clean rooms. Full kitchens with everything I needed. Not a lot of activities, but we made our own fun. Only issue was getting pool towels. Seemed like no one was ever in place to distribute them.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit in the Egret building at the end of June. The rooms were very spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having laundry in unit was fantastic, and the screened in patio was a nice bonus. A few days in, we had to call the front desk to get additional garbage bags, and they had someone bring garbage bags within 30 min (they did confirm that we wold be around for that amount of time first), which isn’t bad considering building locations. We had 2.5 bathrooms, which was wonderful for when we had 6 people staying. My main complaint/reason for not giving 5 stars is the furnishings. They were very dated, like maybe from the late 90s - glass dining table, pink tile floor tile, a lot of yellows, weird wicker table/chairs (breakfast set?) in the kitchen, and the entire kitchen reminded me of 20+ years ago. The Egret building could use an update. We were on the first floor, so I cannot speak to the elevator, but I did only see one. In the kids room (2 twin beds) we found an empty soda can and other garbage on the floor under one of the beds. The beds were comfy - I slept great every night. The AC worked very well. I wish they would have included the linen set for the sofa bed somewhere in unit because an extra blanket would have been nice. The pool at Egret is great if you want to have the pool to yourself and or don’t want to be around a bunch of people. A short drive away is the main pool, behind the building where you check in, and that pool is great. The kids enjoyed the main pool much more than the pool at Egret. All in all, we had a great time. I would recommend staying at vacation villages at bonaventure.

This place is disgusting. First room they gave us was clearly not cleaned after the other used it. Bathtub still had dirty footprints and bed sheets were stained and had women’s hair everywhere. Moved yo another room and found roach in bathroom. Staff really didn’t care. We also expected a king bed and we’re told additional $30 per night after already paying $42 resort fee per day. After much complaining and frustration, we were ready to check out. They said they would reduce the fee to $25 per day so I asked to see the room before O paid one more penny. Bigger room with king bed (side A) and during review a roach in the bathroom, stager didn’t seem too bothered by it. Needless to say we checked out and they refused to refund us any of the money we paid. The place is so old and out dated, doors broken can’t see out balcony doors bc the tiny has melted off of it. Raccoons everywhere trash cans are over filled, hallways and rooms smell muggy. No one cleaning around. Pool area dirty too. I could smell the roach spray in the elevators so it’s probably not new to them that they have roaches. If your not an owner of the unit they treat like 2nd class and unimportant. Don’t waste your money!!! If I could rate it a zero that what I would do.

Their units at Vacation Village at Bonaventure need complete renovations and should be shut down until 100% of the units have been renovated. On top of that, they need better, much better pots/pans, cutlery & service utensils. One grill had no gas while the other had gas, but the completely wrong grates that were incredibly cheap metal. The floors of the pools look like they have stains all over them, so they need to be drained & refinished.

After a 17 hour drive, the very first day of my vacation started at promptly 8 AM when a battalion of leaf blowers started revving up right outside my window. This lasted for 90 mins. When asking the front desk if this will continue he told me it would be like this all week. So for every day I get woke up early I'm removing a star. I'm on vacation, do yard work later so I can enjoy my vacation.

  • 4/5 Chanda F. 10 months ago on Google
After driving 17 hours to get here, we were awoken by weed trimmers and leaf blowers right outside our rooms, at 8am. It went on for over an hour. When we contacted the front desk about it, we were told that it will be happening every day this week, and they aren't going to change it. If we had known that, we would not have stayed here. Also some of the balcony doors are broken, and you can't close the screens. If you want to use the jacuzzi tub, you better fill it at an extremely low trickle. Because of the placement of the faucet, it will splatter water all over the floors, walls, and into the bedroom.

Great place for family vacation. Nice pool with waterfall, kids pool, and jacuzzi. Rooms are clean. Laundry available at each floor for a fee (app or coins). Little gift shop/restaurant by the pool is very convenient, fair prices, but it’s tiny and it doesn’t take Apple Pay or Discover card. Grills are fairly new and well maintained.

I made a reservation for Christmas to have a pleasant family reunion, but the condition of the room certainly dampened our spirits. We entered the room and it appears it has not been updated whatsoever in literal decades, which was very deceiving as the website described this suite as “luxurious.” The ceramic flooring is dated and washed out, along with all of the old furniture. It truly looks like I walked into a hotel in the 50’s, and not in a cute, nostalgic way. The unit was very small and uncomfortable for four people, even though it was advertised as being for four people. The “spacious living room” described on the website is dimly lit and about ten feet wide. I am very disappointed in how what was advertised translated to what was actually offered to us. I will not be returning to his hotel and I advise any readers of this review to watch out and stay elsewhere in Weston.

I made a reservation for Christmas hoping to have a good vacation with my family. Unfortunately, the resort is nothing like how you see it online. The building and facilities are so extremely outdated, there is no real fitness center, the furniture and rooms are clearly very old and smell like an old closet. There’s no windows anywhere except the bedroom, no ventilation anywhere. The rooms are way too small for more than 2-3 people, not 4 person rooms. Very disappointed.

The apartment unit they gave me was located very far from the registration office, which they never provided the address for. They charged $ 5 for every Amazon package...!! Service was good on the premises, but very poor over the phone... Reservation was made through Interval International, who also share responsibility for not informing me appropriately... On the positive side, the apartment was clean and comfortable. All in all, a below average experience.

Our stay was enjoyable, the pools were nice, staff was mostly friendly. The rooms were decent. There were some minor upkeep items in the room that needed attention (bathroom vent in suite A was very noisy, toilet paper holder fell off the wall, sliding patio door was difficult to operate, kitchen sink was slow to drain). The upstairs neighbors were heard as they moved about, opening and closing their sliding glass door, etc. There were some language barriers with some of the staff. The stay wasn't bad, otherwise.

Clean, enjoyed the swimming pool with refreshing lemon water to keep hydrated while in the sun. We requested 2 bedroom and was given 2 connecting units. Bed a little hard.

We had a pretty good stay here. I would definitely go back again. One of our family members has a time share so that's why we stayed here. The pool is nice and the small kids splash pool is nice but we didn't really use it. The rooms were good and had plenty of room. The small balcony was nice but had an annoying large ledge that everyone kept dripping over. I assume it was for heavy winds to keep the rain out. Maybe paint it yellow or something? We got there and they had just started cleaning our room so we had to wait about two hours to get in. Kind of annoying since it was getting close to dinner time and everyone was tired from a long day of flights. They have a gift shop with some random snacks and hot dog type stuff nothing special and kind of odd. It would be nice if they had some better food on sight. They have a smoothie bar too which is nice. There's also plenty of parking. It was really hard to communicate with the front desk people which was unfortunate. I'm pretty good with Spanish and it was still difficult. It took forever to check in because of this and they didn't have much information on surrounding areas. This is a nice place if you want to come and stay on site. It is a bit out of the way of things closer to the ocean though.

  • 4/5 Brandy B. 1 year ago on Google
Great pool, good security that is consistently visible, clean and convenient. They try to sell you a spot for a time share or condo purchase when you pick up your parking pass which caught me off guard. Unfortunately we had a few loud neighbors that blasted music till after 11pm and their kids were still yelling and making noise past midnight. Another neighbor against our other wall started blasting similar music the next morning at 0840, but it was shut off about 10 minutes later, and we didn't hear it again. Not the best place I've ever stayed but certainly not the worst.

The experience was awesome as far as tranquility and peacefulness goes at the Village. The pool and ambiance outstanding, music was a relaxing touch. The mango smoothie I ordered delicious and refreshing. I loved the balcony view. Only two complaints room had a smell of either dust or mold, ice machine broken and there was a staff shortage. The welcome center had a gift card for me waiting but unbeknowst to me. I never knew until I called the site I booked the trip. All in all great time!

The rooms were absolutely up to our standards very clean. The mattresses were comfortable. Enough for a family of 5 in both A and B suites. We had enough supplies for cooking. The balcony was nice. The pool was fantastic, big, and always clean 👌A plus in that area. The staff was always cleaning in our building Heron 1. They were always friendly. Check in was smooth. The sales pitch my parents always feel pressured. The pitch went well 👏 great job team.

I've had the best experience ever. 😌 The resorts are absolutely beautiful and very clean and very organized. The staffs are very polite and the pools are so fun for the family and kids. They also have a pool for kids and a warm pool to relax in. I mean yall should really come down there and enjoy a family or any type of celebration it's very peaceful too. Nice views very chill patios .. I love the sunshine state.
