I had just gotten my sewing machine back home after having some minor adjustments done to it, and I started a new quilt project that was a short deadline to complete. As I began sewing, I noticed the stitches weren't perfect, so I called the store. Laurie told me to bring it back and after making a couple adjustments and changing the needle, it was perfect. The staff at the Tukwila store is always terrific.

Paul (the owner) as well as all the staff I have met, is super friendly and extremely helpful. If you aren't happy and you express you concern to anyone of them, they’re right there to listen for improvement. It’s all about the friendly customer service from them, yes money too but that’s secondary!!! Unlike other businesses that’s putting the almighty dollar first, such as the Airlines and charging for every five cent item, while the customers and service come last. The classes Quality Sewing provides are phenomenal! They make sure if you purchase a machine the classes to learn how to use your machine are available. So far the classes I (Rebecca) have taken are interesting and helpful in my endeavor to learn how to use my machine and how to embroidery. The ladies that use this facility are also extremely helpful, friendly, funny and don’t shun the new person. We just completed Anita’s University and this was so MUCH fun and interesting. One Con is that I would like to have my own machine to make the projects as well as others I had heard from. If you’re going to spend the money on a class, I would like to bring all six projects home. Either get a bigger place to hold the classes or have the two-day classes on separate weeks! All in all this is a great place to visit and sew and convenient to drive too! I’m just over the moon in the amount of help, sewing, classes and feedback that I have received from Tukwila Quality Sewing thus far!

The sales lady was very helpful in choosing lighting for my sewing area. Then we talked about the sewing machine I had bought almost two years ago and she showed me some things that I didn’t realize that my machine could do. Plus she answered some questions I had about it. They are all very supportive there.

Had an older Pfaff serger that needed a tune up and was treated well by everyone I worked with there. They tried to troubleshoot before we sent it in for servicing and it was repaired in about a week (though was given a 3 wk turnaround). They also introduced me to their classes to help me further my sewing skills which was appreciated!

I needed a part to my wet vacuum cleaner. They looked the part up for me and ordered it. It's perfect! The store is amazing- everything you would want or need for sewing or crafts.

This place kept my sewing machine for *6* weeks, before I called them to find out what was going on, they then told me over the phone "on your machine is ready to pick up!", but once I got there they told me my machine was "not repairable" and offered me trade in value. I am so glad I didn't believe them and took my machine to viking sewing and vacuum, there was literally just a lose piece that needed to be popped back into place, the guy at Viking fixed it on the spot. I doubt they even opened it up.

Quality Sewing has friendly and knowledgeable salespeople, and an extensive selection of machines, notions, fabrics, and other sewing needs. Their educational classes are great, and Sew Fun is always enjoyable.

I purchased a PFAFF creative icon. Reva was the associate that sold me this wonderful machine. She was so much fun and very helpful. I will definitely be a return customer!

I took an older sewing machine, that I inherited from my mother-in-law, in to be serviced. I was very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. I was able to use a $ 50 off coupon that was sent to me in an Email for the service. While there picking up the repaired machine, I inquired about getting a rolling case. I was shown a very well made heavy duty case that folds down when not in use. The one on the floor was a very bright pattern, not really my thing. So they brought out the same one from the warehouse in black, which was perfect. When they rang it up it was on sale so I purchased it. They placed the machine into the new rolling case and one of their employees took it out and put it in my car.

Vacuum repair was easy, free, and the technician was a joy to work with. Will absolutely use them for all future needs of this kind.

I shop at Quality often. Sometimes multiple times in a month. It never ceases to amaze me at the great service I receive. I have learned so much since buying my new machine. I have been sewing for over 50 years but they taught me so much and I still continue to go in with questions. Sometimes they know the answer and sometimes they seek to help me find it. Learning to machine embroider has been so much more fun than I ever dreamed. Debbie is one of the instructors and I love her. She is fun, patient and really seems to care that I learn what I am trying to do. Lori is also a go to. She knows so much about the different machines. Thank you Quality for the quality people you hire. What a wonderful experience I always have coming in. Oh... did I mention how much fun I have had in the Sew Fun classes? Love them!

I attended Sew Fun in May, took a quilt top that needed a backing, I am a fairly new quilter and needed advise on a back. Donna was the educator that day, and graciously gave me some great ideas that I would never have thought of. The staff was also great, it has been my store for a long time, and they are always ready to help. Love the addition of fabrics, they are beautiful.

I needed one little part for my 20+ year old Miele vacuum power head. Quality Sewing & Vacuum worked with me over email and phone to figure out the part number and mailed two of 'em to my home very quickly. Thank you so much! Stores that service my vacuum seem to disappear after a couple of years, so please, please, please patronize this business! They're great!

So nice to be able to discuss the vacuum options in person -- it really helps when you're contemplating a bigger ticket purchase. Totally worth it to go in person, plus, the vacuum is everything I could have wanted and more.

I had already done a lot of research on the vacuums I was interested in and Quality Sewing was one of the few places that carried the models I wanted to see. I was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable the staff were. They were able to quickly narrow down which models would work for my needs and two weeks later I'm very happy with my purchase and experience.

Great store, everyone is very friendly and helpful! I had a new sewing machine and needed some help. They took me through the basics (I have sewn before), were great with my beginner questions and recommended some better supplies to reduce the problems I was having. I’ve also had my vacuum serviced here and they did a great job!
