He guided me expertly through the process and his taste and style definitely showed up in the final product, which I’m thrilled with. From the moment I met Tony I knew I wanted him to make a custom jacket/blazer. I am over the moon with how it turned out and it is the most comfortable jacket I own and the fit is impeccable. Tony was able to walk me through the process of what I had in mind to create exactly what I had envisioned and beyond. I got a dress shirt as well and I have never had a more comfortable one. Because it is the perfect length, I can wear it with jeans untucked. I am already thinking of what to get next, this is definitely a wardrobe game changer.

This is the best shop in the Portland area! Tony is a true master of his craft. His service and professionalism were superior to any other shop that I had experienced. I have never been a big fashion person so having an expert walk me through the different options with colors, cuts, and styles that would best fit me was a wonderful and educational experience. Are there ten stars available? I walked in on Monday afternoon with three dresses which needed hemmed, by Wednesday. Tony was willing to help me out and for that I am grateful. But his quality of work left me impressed. Everything was perfect - he kept the hems exactly as original without me having to ask. His rush fees were reasonable, his staff is friendly, and the selection of handbags and samples of clothing is pretty amazing. I asked about the yardage needed to make shirts because I am definitely going to try and bring back fabric from Paris! Highly recommend!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I had to make an exception; my husband gave me a gift certificate for THOR, and at first I felt intimidated to dip my toes into the bespoke world, but my experience was amazing from start to finish. Tony is professional, warm, and incredibly attentive, and his work is exquisite and flawless… he also made the process fun, simple, and straightforward. I spent my entire life filling my closet with necessary work and leisure attire to satisfy life’s obligations, yet I “never had anything to wear”. The multitude of retail items I’ve given away to charity just didn’t feel right on my person. Our bodies are unique, but in an age of mass consumerism and cheap manufacturing, we were never introduced to proper clothing. Clothing that lasts a lifetime and fits! Tony did a incredible remake of my favorite bag which had worn out.It was perfect. Hurry up and buy one of his incredibly beautiful leather bags, totes, briefcases, duffles and accessories for men and women before he becomes famous and you can’t afford his stand out bags. If you want a unique leather item for yourself or your favorite man or woman this would be a good place to buy one. Women’s bags are also beautiful including a range of backpacks styles another normal kinds of bags, satchels, and wallets. Unique craftsmanship and beauty made of leather. Tony is slso a clothes designer and makes fabulous custom clothing, I hear from other customers in the shop.

Tony is amazing, that’s all anyone needs to know. I’ve had weird experiences being fitted for suits in the past. Traditional tailors would get awkward about measuring my female body for “menswear”. With my wedding coming I really wanted a suit that would truly fit me properly. My experience with Tony was comfortable from the very beginning. His communication and guidance in choosing fabrics to measuring my body was all extremely professional with an easy going vibe. The suit is perfect. It’s hands down the coolest thing I’ve ever worn. It makes me feel confident and, I’ll admit, quite sexy! I look forward to finding excuses for more sweet threads in the future just so I can spend time with Tony.

I asked Tony to design me a one of a kind suit, because I heard he was the best in town and saw nothing but 5-STAR reviews online. So, my expectations were very high going in and Tony somehow managed to far exceed all expectations. When working with Tony, the level of customer service he provided from start to finish was world class. At our first appointment, Tony sat with me for more than an hour, listening to me explain the vision I had for the suit I wanted. He patiently helped guide me in deciding every last detail of the suit, turning my vision into a reality. Tony is truly a master of his craft and I greatly appreciate his unmatched attention to detail. To me what sets Tony apart from any other maker I’ve ever worked with, is that the customer service he provides is as super high level as the product he’s creating. Toni helped me get my ballroom dress altered and it was a very creative solution. His love and passion for leather goods he makes was impressive to learn about and I ended up buying some of his bags. His story of resilience is inspiring and how he was able to create such an amazing business that gives back to others is what I love.

Cannot say enough. I have no vision when it comes to design. I came in not knowing anything besides the wanting a suit. The team at The House of Rose helped me handpick a suit that looks great! I’m excited to say this is my first suit ever owning.
