We hired Southbound Barbecue for our son’s high school graduation party in our backyard. Brad was easy to work with, very clear in his communication and he and the Southbound team were pleasant and made our guests happy! Everyone loved the food truck in our backyard. The food was delicious and all of our guests raved over the food and the concept. This is not your ordinary barbecue. The sauces, the smoky flavor in the meats, the unique recipes for the side dishes showed that time, effort and love had been poured into the food. This saved me time and effort, but still gave my guests the quality meal I wanted. They even gave us all of the leftovers, so we received everything we paid for and have more meals to enjoy. It was so easy we are trying to figure out other excuses for having the truck return. Thanks to Brad and the guys for making our son’s party a hit!

Brad and Southbound BBQ catered my wedding at Thornbury Farm in early October. From the start we knew it was going to be a great experience. Brad was SO nice and easy to work with. He answered any questions we had and the food was absolutely incredible. We would definitely use Southbound again in the future and will always be keeping an eye for them at food truck festivals. 100% would recommend using them for any event you are hosting. They will not disappoint!!

Brad and the Southbound BBQ team were absolutely fantastic to work with. We booked the food truck for my baby shower and it was a huge hit and made our lives so much easier (no food prep or clean up!). We had brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken options along with Mac n cheese, cornbread, potato salad, and coleslaw. We cannot say enough great things about Southbound BBQ. Brad and his team catered our 300 person wedding. The food was excellent and they were able to serve the amount of people without any issues! We knew we wanted to use a food truck for our wedding, but concerned about wait times. Brad put our minds at ease and assured us that everyone would be fed in a timely manner. He did not disappoint! We did a tasting a few weeks before the wedding to help us with our menu choices. The brisket with his homemade sauces and garlic/herb crusted chicken was a favorite! Brad was easily reachable at anytime leading up to the wedding and when the weather took a turn for the worse he made sure we had a serving tent ready to go so our guests wouldn’t stand in the rain while waiting for their meals. We would definitely recommend Southbound BBQ for any event large or small.

We hired Southbound BBQ after doing some research online and Brad and his team were great throughout the process. He helped select the menu and what was a good mix and appropriate for a party around the BMW championship. He was very thorough and easy to work with. At the event itself, his team and especially the food was amazing. We had folks in from Texas and they said this was as good as anything they could get there. High praise from Texas BBQ lovers. Guests raved about everything, but the Brisket and Mac N Cheese shined above all. They even made some platters that got devoured late night by the younger crowd. All in all a great experience and great food and professional company to deal with.

Brad was responsive and communicated with us regularly leading up to the party. Brad and his team arrived on time with a truckload of BBQ, sides, and appetizers. We had nearly 100 guests and Brad and his assistant had no problem keeping the line moving. We were able to relax and enjoy our own party. Large portions of moist brisket, pulled pork, and chicken for everyone! His BLT appetizers were a big hit as well. Everyone loved the corn bread and sides. Brad even made two large plates for my wife and I and tracked us down so we didn't miss out on the BBQ! We would recommend Southbound BBQ for your next event without hesitation.

We were set on having a food truck for our wedding this past September (2023). Southbound was recommended by our wedding venue. We read the reviews and were very impressed. I cannot say enough good things about Brad and his company. They were on top of everything from the start of our wedding planning in April of 2022. He initially did a phone call with me and gave me a great run down of everything. We then met for a food tasting which was a great experience with my dad, husband and mother in law. All of the food was AMAZING. Brad was always quick to respond and always kind. The wedding day went smoothly. I was a bit worried about it taking awhile to get people through the line but that was not an issue at all. So many guests commented on how great the food was. Brad also purchased the utensils that I wanted and dropped them off ahead of time at the venue for us to set up. I 10\10 recommend Brad and his team. Great food and great people!

Based off of their stellar online reviews, we booked Southbound Barbecue Company to cater our rehearsal dinner from their food truck without even having tasted their food. We had high hopes and Southbound Barbecue easily exceeded them! My fiancé and his family, as well as some of my family, are from the south and even they were blown away by how delicious the food was!! The rest of our guests raved about the food too and the truck was such a fun idea to provide some variety since we were having a formal sit down dinner the night after at our wedding. We worked with Brad on a custom menu for our ~60 guests featuring a choice of 3 meats, 4 sides and a salad, and every single item was incredible and superior to any other BBQ I’ve had. The amazing food aside, it was a pleasure to work with the owner Brad. From the start, he was accommodating, quick to respond, always willing to hop on a call to answer questions and provided helpful guidance and recommendations as we planned our custom menu. On the day of, the onsite team serving from the truck was friendly and attentive, creating a wonderful experience for our guests. Finally, we found prices to be very affordable for the quantity and quality of food provided. We fought over the leftovers - that’s how good every bite was! 12/10 would book with them again and would highly, highly recommend!

From start to finish this was the absolute best catering experience I've ever had. Brad helped with planning my event and every detail was exactly as I had hoped. He was always quick to respond to my texts and emails and to offer his advice on menu planning. The food was delicious, the truck experience was a hit with everyone, and the staff were efficient and friendly. Brad helped make my son's grad party a tremendous success and everyone had a great time. I will definitely be using Southbound BBQ Co for future events.

We had Southbound BBQ out for our annual Halloween party and the food was phenomenal!!! Everyone raved on the authentic bbq flavor and taste. I’m pretty sure some people at the party were wanting to use him for their own events. I would definitely hire him again for any future party. Highly recommend!!!!

Planning an important event within a short time frame is exciting but it can also be fairly stressful. You have to factor in the time it takes to research vendors, submit requests for proposals, and then actually receive those proposals back. When it came to the food for our event, I knew I wanted a menu that would be unique and that would lend to a superb dining experience for our guests. Our venue told me that I should checkout Southbound BBQ Company as they were hearing some rave reviews. Those reviews were so accurate that here I am writing my own rave review! The response time from Brad upon submitting for a quote was stellar! He reached out quickly via phone and continued to communicate with me via call, text, and email from that moment through the day after the event. Even during the event when we had a few changes with attendees, he was right on top of everything communicating seamlessly between myself and his team onsite. As for that team onsite, they seriously brought their A game! They were instrumental in setting up the place settings at each table and ran through the night with precision, attention to detail, and stayed true to schedule down to the minute. The food from Southbound BBQ Company was presented beautifully and was beyond compare. Your soul needs their cooking all up in it! It doesn’t get better than authentic Texas BBQ!!!! I also appreciated their ability to offer many varieties of entrees and sides instead of the classic 2 and 2. To be able to give our guests those options was a brand new experience in my years of planning events. I’ll be dreaming of their mini pulled pork tacos with slaw (which are also adorable!), their herb risotto cakes (have mercy), their mini crab cakes, and the short ribs for evenings to come! By the end of the dinner service there was so much buzz going on about the incredible food and our guests started to ask our team members who our caterer was. Thank you Southbound for being absolutely delightful to work with! Your team is full of positive personalities that are detail-oriented and incredibly talented. I will continue to confidently refer you to others and look forward to working with you again in the future. I only regret not taking more food photos!

This was a great experience! My Co-worker and I were setting up a Company picnic and decided to try out Southbound BBQ as neither of us had heard of them before. Their food choices on their website looked amazing and we were excited to see how this would go. The Owner, Brad, was super informative and quick to respond to our inquiries about how the logistics of using a food truck for a picnic would work. They arrived on time and had a fantastic team of friendly people. They served our crowd efficiently, no one was left hungry or waiting. Most importantly, the food met and exceeded our expectations, it was delicious! Portion sizes were perfect and food came out hot. Overall, our company was very happy we went with Southbound BBQ.

It was absolutely a wonderful experience working with Brad and his team. When Brad and I first talked I could tell he had a passion for serving people DELICIOUS barbecue at a reasonable price. He and his team were friendly and so easy to work with. I had a couple of people decide to come at the last minute and Brad was flexible enough to include them. They were on time, friendly, and served seriously delicious food. Everyone really enjoyed it. There were absolutely no complaints only compliments. I plan on hiring them again.
