Delivery Chef has 5-star customer service. They are quick and conscientious about filling your order, whether it is a big grocery shop or take-out food. They work with a huge number of businesses, so you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner delivered, anything from fast food to BBQ, Chinese, Hibachi style, wings, burgers or even treat yourself to a nice steak or lobster dinner without having to put on makeup or dress up. They make payment easy by cash, credit card and PayPal. Their delivery zone is HUGE - Hickory, Conover, Lenoir, Hudson, Morganton and more. You can see the list on their website in a letter from the owner. The owner, David, works 12+ hours a day himself, making deliveries and handling customer service support, training new drivers and working with the restaurants and stores they partner with. If you ever have a mistake made by the driver or restaurant, he is personally quick to fix it. Other stand-outs working are Ashleigh, who is always helpful on the phone, and Kris, who is a driver that double-checks everything and gets orders to you as fast and fresh as you expect. Like it says on their website: "When you order from The Delivery Chef, you are ordering local food delivered by locals, managed by locals, and owned by locals." Almost anyone can deliver groceries and food from restaurants, but with 15 years of experience, Delivery Chef sets the bar incredibly high for my expectations from other services.

Delivery chef is very consistent, delivery people are very courteous and friendly, food always arrives hot. Forget Doordash and UberEats, I have been ripped off by each ones, more than once.

Everyone I dealt with at The Delivery Chef was great. The were all very professional and friendly. They answered any questions I had and contacted me every step of the way to let me know about my order. I was very pleased with everyone I dealt with. The only issue I had was my total when I ordered was $56 and some change and when it was delivered it was $62 and some change and my driver couldn't really tell me why and I couldn't find anything to show me why the price changed. I really enjoyed the service Delivery chef offered along with the option to pay in cash. The delivery drivers were very communicative and prompt with service. I didn’t like the high delivery fee but honestly it was worth it considering I always have delivery problems with Uber eats and DoorDash.

The drivers are always really helpful even with the challenges of following the current detour. Since we prefer to support small locally owned businesses, this service gives far more options than grubhub or doordash. Although it costs more than those other delivery services, we feel the quality of service is better also.

This is a very good food delivery service in North Carolina. They have great, hard working people. But, what brings them down, is thier delivery fee ($32)! And they serve almost every restaurant in the Hickory, Granite Falls, Lenior areas. (More than Doordash & Grubhub, combined!) But, if you want to pay $32 for a delivery fee, be my guest.

David always provides quality service in delivery of food and groceries when I order groceries from Lowes Foods. I feel that he goes way beyond what's necessary to assure that no problems or delay in delivery ever occurs. Excellent communications with great service.

Always great service. Been using Delivery Chef for 6 to 6.5 years. I remember when it was the owner David doing all the deliveries. Hardly any problems, and the ones that do happen are promptly dealt with. Prices can be high, but that’s expected from a smaller operation especially in comparison to DoorDash or other platforms. Enjoy the different payment options and allowing cash. Cannot recommend enough!
